Hurricane prep for a funeral home was wild

My fingers were sore from 7+ hours of nonstop embalming

The crematory operators worked about 12 hours themselves.

But, everyone is either cremated or embalmed. No one left in our cooler. A truly daunting feat for someone working out of the Tampa/Clearwater metropolitan area.

Only one reported death so far, right on I-4, a few miles from my job.

Our dispatcher had to be rescued from her roof last night, despite not being in the evacuation zone.

As of now, all bridges connecting the Pinellas peninsula to the rest of Florida are closed & I am unable to return to work.
