Biden has great ideas but can't implement them due to political stalemate — just like Washington and Jefferson
President Joe Biden will be remembered as one of our greatest Presidents. He has pushed for an ambitious economic program: expanded access to health care, major investments in job creation, financial assistance to parents, accelerated development of green energy and other steps to address climate change.
Like Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln. He is being thwarted by lesser thinkers in Congress from the opposing party. Think of the progress we could make if the voters just voted for the people who support the President in making America better.

An Open Letter to President Trump
An Open Letter to President Trump
Dear President Trump:
In this letter, I’m going to presume to give you advice about how to make the adjustment to being President. It’s important to me because, like it or not, your decisions affect the world, including the world immediately around me. I was at first hesitant to write this letter because I don’t know anything about being President, but then I realized. . . neither do you. On that…

***I have been very political lately, and honestly, though people may find it annoying, I am going to speak my mind.**** It is absolutely appalling to me that in the last 8 years we went from making incredible progress as a country for having our first black president to now voting for an outwardly bigoted, racist, who is supported by the KKK. You may call this opinion, but no, this is fact. After the Bush administration Obama had to pick up a lot of pieces and help rebuild this country. During his time he has helped create more jobs and rebuild the economy, he has gotten marriage equality to be legal in all 50 states, and has paved the way for more active women's rights, reproductive rights, health care reform, social justice reform, and dismantling institutional racism. I do not care fi you do not agree with LGBTQ+ or Prochoice, the fact that we are SUPPOSED to be in the land of freedom and equal opportunity, not just a land to benefit white, straight, rich, christians. Tonight, I thought that America would continue is progress by not only shattering the glass ceiling and having our first women as president, but electing someone to continue the progress that Obama started. But no, tonight, FEAR and HATE won. Trump's whole campaign was fear mongering, and being hateful towards POC, Women, Muslims, LGBTQ+, and many other minority communities. If you voted for Trump then you are a hateful person. Trump will evoke more sexism, homophobia, islamophobia..etc. It is a fact that today there was an astonishing amount of uneducated people who came to vote, and the majority of them voted trump, so I am being factual when I am saying that ignorance played a huge part in this election. As for the "christian" voters, if you voted for trump because of your "christian" values, remember Jesus walked with and befriended prostitutes, thieves, rapists, murders, and loved them, and tonight you voted for the most hateful of men to be the leader of this country. As a woman, it absolutely terrifies me that a man who has admitted to sexual assault and is going on trial for rape is the leader of my home. I am terrified for my neighbors who are queer, colored, non-christian, etc, because of his hatefulness and the backing he got by the american people. But remember, we can stand together. We have the right to protest, to speak out, to march the streets and demand change. I stopped saying that I was proud to be an American years ago, and today it has never been more true. I am disappointed in my country, and disappointed that this is the place that I call home.
