13/08/18 - Before & After Well it’s done and ready for sale, information/spec of bike to follow. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the progress blog. It has taken longer than expected and I’ve love and hated it on many occasions. But I’m super glad it’s done and ready to be ripped.
08/08/18 - New Fender. No not the landy, the front fender was replaced from UFO to Acrebis as i wasn't keen on the look of the UFO. A quick wash and detail and the bike looks how i imagined it would nearly 3 years ago when i bought it. I’ll post a before and after soon to show the difference.
22/07/18 - Details It’s been a while, and i haven't even bedded the freshly built engine in, but epic news i finally found a part for this bike i thought i never would. The filter element screw, literally so stoked i found one on eBay second hand from the states. I didn't hesitate to snatch this up straight away.
16/03/18 - Goodies Freshly machined engine parts, seals bearings and gaskets.. all to be built into the Yz ripper. Exciting progress from Stuart, can’t wait to see the bike all fired up.
11/03/18 - Rapid Well it didn't take long to find our what the issue was, luckily it’s salvageable. - The barrel will need to be re-honed - New Piston - Connecting Rod - Bottom End Bearings etc Just with the things listed above... full engine rebuild it is then!
09/03/2018 - Handing Over. I can officially say this bike has beat me, i’ve tried everything but strip the engine to bit to get this running. Luckily a instagrammer forwarded details of Stuart at Fix Off Road down in Warminster (https://www.facebook.com/pg/Fix-Off-Road) Who has a lot of knowledge of evo motocross bikes. So i pushed pride aside and handed over the bike to him to diagnose, after diagnosis i asked to be contacted to understand what he's found and how to proceed.
