Sorry, I couldn’t fit it into an ask. ;w; Anyway! Have a headcanon borne of too much SWTOR and other Star Wars accessories, Diablo 3, and a dash of sleep deprivation.
Very rarely, if a Force User was particularly in tune with the Force at a given moment, tendrils of Force energy would come out behind them. Many would never see it in their lifetimes, be it their own attainment or someone else’s.
The tendrils themselves would be incorporeal, their movement reflecting the energy of the moment. (Swaying and pulsing slowly if attained through meditation, to snapping somewhat violently if attained during combat.) They wouldn’t last long, anywhere from less than a minute to maybe ten, depending on if the deep connection was retained.
If a strand brushed someone, a variety of effects would occur, all dependant upon the person the strand was attached to. If the person touched was friendly, a feeling of warmth. A lifemate, a nearly overwhelming sense of love. A sworn enemy, a severe burn might appear. Neutral/New person, nothing at all might happen, or at the very most, it’d raise gooseflesh.
While it may not have happened for these particular people (or it may have. That’s up to you!), have some examples that showed up quite clearly in my head.
Qui-Gon’s would be the colour of new leaves in the spring. Orientation-wise, they’d start at the base of his neck and run down his spine to just below the end of his ribcage.
Obi-Wan, a pale almost white blue, flecked with yellow and green; focused mostly around his shoulder blades.
Anakin, vibrant orange and red, spattered with (probably to his immense displeasure) the colour of Tattooine sand; focused in the centre of his back and splaying outwards in all directions.
Oh NONNY Wow! This is so lovely. Like seriously, what a pretty picture you’ve painted. Makes me wish I had a functioning tablet!
Ugh I want one of the first time that Obi-Wan finds his way to this, long enough to be conscious of it, to be in the Desert on Tattooine.
He thinks he’s alone. He’s been so long since he got there. But out of the corner of his eye he sees a hint of green. He turns his head and there’s this familiar pattern. He’d glimpsed it before, so long ago, here and there. He’d seen that color snap and fade through his tears as Qui-Gon’s life force left his body while Obi-wan held him in his arms.
But there is it, a spot of new green in the harsh endless dessert. Obi-wan can’t remember the last time he saw anything green here. At first, it’s just the tendrils. Strong and pulsing, flowing outward, until gradually, they form a picture. Then he sees a smile as the green seamlessly becomes blue. His old master, translucent, and washed out in blue light.
Thanks so much for sharing Nonny!>
