I just randomly remembered this time that me and my partner stared at each other silently across a room for several minutes and then I got up to go do the thing I realized I was being asked to do, and apparently this scared the shit out of my mother in law.

We do this all the time at home so like... I didn't even think about it? We also tend to communicate in a weird shorthand if we go verbal. Or just make noises that correspond to either "pay attention to me" or "come here please" and we just... understand which is which.

And anyway it occurred to me that I can throw that into the growing pile of evidence that my own relationship is a valid reference for Wolfstar. I would also love to see more weird shit like that in established relationship fics.
