When he had met Whitney for the first time, he had pegged her for what everyone else judged her as: an overly cheery (if not klutzy) girl. But obviously the pinkette had proved him and his judgments quite wrongly by showing him what she was made of in battle -- that's why Morty always has bad memories of how her Milktank nearly rolled him out of the ring...!

Ever since then, however, he has always come to admire her cheerful disposition, as well as her optimism. However, she does have her breakdowns and insecurities; something that he has only recently just discovered ever since becoming close friends.

But she's definitely is best female friend and wouldn't want that any other way! <3
