The thought of ox just getting sort of attracted by seeing Lou doing small little things that no one would normally notice or care about...

Like side eyeing as Lou takes off his gloves once comfortable enough, watching it in absolute silence as if it was a crime

Or watching Lou fixing his beautiful golden hair with his hands and finding it just too pretty

Or like seeing Lou talking slowly while explaining something and paying attention to how his body moves/how he speaks

I THINK OX WOULD FIND...SMALL ACTS...REALLY ATTRACTIVE

It was finally his time. Every doll, pretty and ugly, gathered around the portal to bid farewell to their beloved mayor.

It has been a long day. A huge celebration was thrown as a goodbye party. Ox didn't expect his big world day would come with the whole town throwing a party for him. Well, he guessed that was the thanks he got from being such a kind and caring leader. How long has it been since he was born into this world? He's forgotten. It felt like it was only yesterday he's built UglyVille. He remembered greeting the new ugly dolls who came through the pipe and giving them a warm welcome to their chance to live and be themselves. He remembered planning and building houses with the help of the uglies, painting those houses and goofing around making a big mess, throwing fun events so that his people have something to look forward to everyday, hopefully so they'd forget about the big world. He still couldn't believe that one day the uglies and pretty would live in harmony together and he'd be the one to lead them. He had Moxy to thanked for bringing them all together. She was braver than any of them, braver than him.

Everyone made way for Ox to walk towards the portal. On the way there, he said personal goodbyes to a few of his closest friends. Most of his friends had gone through the portal long before him. He wanted to wait until it was the right moment for him to leave. A few days ago, LuckyBat and him had a conversation about this day.

"I-I just don't know Lucky, I mean I want to stay longer for them but they all kept saying that they'd be fine and I don't have to worry so much."

LuckyBat sipped his tea before looking at Ox, "They want the best for you Ox, you've been here longer than everyone, and you've done so much for us. So, of course everyone wants you to be with your kid."

Ox played around with his tea cup, unsure about the situation. "I know that but, I still feel like there's something that I need to do here."

"Is something holding you back?"

Ox looked up at LuckyBat with a confused expression, like he had just said something strange.

"I don't think so, why would anything be holding me back?"

"I mean, I don't know,, maybe you have a task that you forgot to do that was very important."

Ox thought to himself for a moment. What was he forgetting? He thought long and hard but nothing came up. "I guess, I don't have anything I haven't done here."

"Then, that means it's okay for you to leave."

Ox finally made his way to the portal's platform. He gave a short speech and said thanks to everyone. He saw a lot of them cried, and he was starting to tear up too. He couldn't believe that after all these years he finally got to be with his kid. He thought of this as his retirement. He would surely miss everyone here. After all, this was his first and true home. Ox turned around to face the portal. He walked slowly and stopped when he got very close. He hesitated, still thinking that there was something he had missed. Something... something... or maybe someone-

"OX DON'T GO"

a shout was heard from afar, it was so loud that everyone in the crowd including Ox turned to look at the source of the voice.

Lou started running as fast as he could towards Ox. People in the crowd tried to block him from getting there but he was too fast. He made it to Ox, all tired and breathing heavily. Ox looked at his old friend turned enemy. He couldn't believe that he had forgotten about Lou. He guessed that it was because he hadn't seen him in... oh god how long has it been since he last saw him?

"Lou... what are you doing here?"

His old friend dropped to his knees in front of him. Ox flinched a little, not expecting that action. Suddenly, the blonde looked up at him, crying, actually crying. Ox has never seen him cried before.

"Ox please don't leave me, I promise I'll be a good doll. I promise I'll change, just please don't leave!" Lou cried out.

Ox was shocked, he has never seen the blonde looked like this. Certainly not kneeling, crying, begging for him to stay. He has never seen him so...vulnerable. Lou's face was covered in dirt, his clothes shrunk, his hair unkept. Ox couldn't believe he'd let him become like this. Nobody ever thought about checking in on Lou to see his condition. A pang of guilt struck him. He knew that Lou has done terrible things to him and everyone. But, he remembered how angry he was when he revealed himself to be a prototype, when he desperately tried to destroy the portal. Then, a memory came up about what he said to Lou.

"Dolls don't need you or your training"

An ugly and pretty came up the platform to pull Lou away from Ox. "Lou that's enough! Haven't you done enough trouble? You tried to destroy the portal many times, refused to do your cleaning job, and now you're keeping Ox away from getting to his kid? How selfish and self-centered are you?" The pretty doll screamed.

Lou didn't listen to the doll's scream, his focus was only on Ox.

"I'm sorry for everything. For hurting you, for manipulating you, for hurting everyone. I'm sorry, but this will be my last selfish act. I'm begging you, please stay, old friend. Please teach me how to be better."

The crowd started booing Lou and shouting at Ox. "OX DON'T LISTEN TO HIM! GO LIVE WITH YOUR KID!" Several dolls shouted.

Ox had to make an impossible decision. For the first time ever, he finally got to think about making himself happy. Going through the portal, finding a kid to be loved and accepted. He was ready for it, or so he thought. Now, he's unsure. He didn't know his feeling towards Lou. Yes, they used to be friends, but, he tried to kill him and his friends before. He had hurt so many dolls. Did he really deserve a second chance? I guess the thought of it never came across anyone's mind. Which he didn't blame. Lou was cruel, selfish, and had an ego too big for his own good. But, Ox did feel guilty. Even though Lou's a prototype, he's still like every other doll. He had his own feelings and emotions. Suddenly, the big screen turned on. The screen that showed videos of kids playing with their dolls.

"There's a kid for every doll," The woman on the screen said.

The pretty doll had have enough and started dragging Lou away violently with the help of the ugly doll. "No stop! Ox please! Listen to me!"

Ox watched him silently, before turning his back on him towards the portal. He was silent for a bit, then sighed.

"Nolan, Wage, enough. Put him down."

Nolan and Wage put Lou down. Ox walked up to him. Lou was scared for what he'd do to him. Then, Ox wiped his tears away with one of his ears and gave a warm smile.

"Alright bud, I'll stay. With one condition, you have to be better. I will teach you how to"

Lou couldn't help but start sobbing again, "Yes I promise, and thank you,, Ox"

"Of course bud, I can't see ya suffering any longer"

HELLOOOO so this fic is called "An Impossible Decision" I've been thinking a lot about what if Ox stays with Lou and never go to the big world and voila, here r fanarts and a fic. I would love to explore this story more because I already have a concept for redeemed Lou.

Also I'm planning to make this a Lou x Ox series or what I like to call it, prettybunny.

If you're interested in me making more then ya'll can comment about it :D I want the second part to have a little flashback with Lou
