#Repost from @thoroughbred718. Meet my #WCW today, Janaiy! Janaiy was born in Newark, NJ, a healthy girl who weighed 5lbs 2ozs. Her mom had some complications during pregnancy, but not much. Her parents started noticing a delay in her at the age of 2 and 3 yrs old. Janaiy was still not fully potty trained and she was not able to talk. Once she got into head-start, she started receiving speech therapy. It was then that they discovered that she portrayed some of the characteristics of a child with autism. She went to several doctors in different cities and states. She was finally diagnosed with moderate autism at the age of 4 yrs old. There was a time when they thought she would never be able to speak or function in social settings. Janaiy is now 28 years old, working and thriving. She is the most beautiful and most loving person you could ever meet.
