I think “artists deserve to be paid well for their art” and “pajuxi is greedy and makes way too much for what her output is” are statements that can coexist lol. Like yeah good for her that she’s making that much money off her art, but also the people buying her art need a wake up call. Dropping 1k on an adopt is already wild, but the designs don’t have any other additional art and virtually no commercial rights. Like. You could’ve gotten much more fulfilling things with that money than a png that doesn’t even have a front facing reference PLUS you’re feeding into it by actually going along with the outrageous prices she sets up for herself

Honestly, anyone who gives in to crazy CS prices without a) saving up if they really want to and b) being responsible with their money should get some sort of karma in the form of having to try and sell their overpriced pngs and getting not even half of what they paid for back.

People have been warning others about how predatory CS can be and how FOMO messes with you for years now; If you ignore the warnings, don’t be surprised when you have to face the consequences of your irresponsibility ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that’s all I’m gonna say on the topic.

I also explicitly stated the a and b because there are people who ARE responsible with their money, and know when and when not to try for an adopt, CS or not, and some people put a little bit aside for a once-in-a-while adopt (especially if they have a job). I doubt that the people who won these damn basals are responsible with their money or even have a job that allows them to splurge such a large amount without potentially fucking themselves over.

TL;DR I won’t be surprised if these individuals make an ad crying about not being able to afford necessities and trying to sell their basals, and nobody bites
