Greece is being asked to cut it's minimum wage as part of austerity measure imposed by the European Union.  Right now it's stalled but it'll probably go through.

Many believe the min wage there was too high and causing unemployment (now at about 20% in Greece).

Thanks to classmate Stephen Seifert for bringing up the issue.
