RSS rebounds sharply as July stability gives way
RSS has posted a sharp late-July recovery in the Delhi domestic market after holding unchanged for nearly two weeks. Indian RSS prices closed at Rs 252/kg on 30 July, gaining Rs 22/kg from Rs 230/kg a week earlier. The market remained at Rs 230/kg for most of the recent period before moving to Rs 250/kg on 28 July and then edging higher. The latest increase has quickly brought pricing close to the recent upper end of the market range.
The monthly movement shows a clear shift from the Rs 230/kg baseline toward the latest Rs 252/kg close. RSS prices in India reached a three-month high of Rs 265/kg, while the six-month period recorded a high near Rs 268/kg and a low around Rs 160/kg. Over the past year, prices ranged from around Rs 140/kg to Rs 268/kg, keeping the current level well above the lower points recorded during the broader period.
Indian RSS prices remain below the three-month and six-month highs despite the sharp recovery. Support is around Rs 230/kg, while resistance is near Rs 265/kg. These levels offer immediate reference points for buyers, traders, and procurement teams reviewing the latest movement against the established monthly, three-month, and six-month ranges.
