I don't think she'll be narrating the movie, often they do voice recordings to explain the story better without using a deep voice creepy narrator, lol. At the beginning of the Sea of Monsters movie, Percy had like a two minute voiceover, so it might be something like that. Just thought I'd let you know :) Also, Chicago itself doesn't even really know what divergence is about necessarily, they don't know that it means you're genetically pure but yeah I just wanted to say that :D
i REALLY REALLY HOPE SO. i dont want her to voice over at all. that puts a really cheesy tint to the film. and as for the definition of divergence yeah you find out the real deal once theyre outside the fence but what theyre calling it in the trailer isnt what they thought it was in the first book and theyre just like linking fear landscapes/simulations to divergence it seems which is only a small aspect—they even knew that much at the time. like i said they always mash up stuff in trailers and voice over some scene clips with audio from other scenes and just blahhh like when tris is training you know tobias doesnt come up grab her stomach and go “youre divergent” like that much is obvious. so they could have just made a really shitty trailer. i hope thats it.
