A/N: I am ready for Throne of Nightmares! The Sloth content is about to be so good!!
Everyday was considered lazy in House Sloth in the minds of demons outside of the circle, but reality was House Sloth were hard working researchers. Yes, you do love to lounge and read and snack but you are all dedicated to your work as well to the point in which productivity of other tasks can be neglected.
You, were no stranger to this lifestyle as you too had your projects. Being a healer has been your passion and you have dedicated your entire existence to this practice. One unfortunate incident occurred where Prince Sloth needed a healer and so you was brought forth.
Like Sloth’s brothers, he was sure and confident when it came to flirting and relationships. Unlike his brothers his relationships usually were drama free. But when you healed him, he had no idea how to flirt and woo you. You were focused on your healing practices afterall. He would try to say something flirtatious or offer a date but you would laugh it off and continue with your work, thinking the prince was joking. Eventually, you said yes and you have been together ever since.
Sloth was smitten with them, but this week he realized he had not seen you as much as he desired. After finishing up his response to Lust’s mocking missive he stared out the window to see snow falling. He let go of his pen and moved to look for you.
He found you quickly in your workshop grinding away at some ingredient and muttering to yourself. He smiled as he spotted a smudge on your face. He wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed your neck, his hand moved to gently brush the smudge away.
“Hello, Lo” you sighed, leaning into Lo's embrace.
“Hello, y/n” he whispered. He had to hold back the purr in his chest. “Would you like to take a break?”
You hummed but shook your head no. “Not right now,” you said gently.
“When did you take a break last?”, he questioned his had rubbing up and down your back. He was trying to convince you to give in. To go with him and take a break.
You paused and Lo continued to stroke. “It’s been a few hours.” You admitted.
He pressed a kiss to the column of your neck and hummed. “Come sit with me. It’s snowing, I will call for food and hot chocolate. I missed you all day,” he said not caring if he sounded a bit needy.
You couldn’t help but smile as he confessed missing you. You nod placing your supplies down. Lo removed your workers apron and a lazy grin of triumph rested on his face as he led you to a lounger near a large window.
He pulled you with him as he laid on the lounge chair with your chest resting on his. He sighed in content as your scent enveloped him. He listened to you discuss your work as he continued to rub your back until you eventually fell asleep. He was content as he held you watching the snow fall. He loved lazy snow days especially with you.
