Could we learn a little more about Aylen and Feora's friendship? :3 They sound so precious with their bond mentioned in Aylen's bio~
Oooh, absolutely Katy! :3 Been meaning to give these two their own spotlight anyway, thanks for reminding me! ^w^
-Aylen and Feora first became acquainted during Combat Training class, in which both girls decided to “sit out” of a tough obstacle course that the others were taking (and thus being teased by some of the “bigger” kids). Realizing they weren’t alone in being pacifistic, elven mages, Feora and Aylen bonded some more over their shared interests up until the end of class.
-The two were originally separated into different dorm rooms, with Aylen’s dorm-mate being very rude and dismissive to the elven girl). Wanting some peace from that type of cold treatment, Aylen sought out Feora and with enough convincing, were able to pull some strings to get their own dorm together at last.
-Some of the hobbies the girls had bonded over include plush animal-collecting, baking, and binging on their favorite tv shows together (one of which being an animated series centered around pastel-colored sheep, “Wooly Land”). It’d be a dream come true for them to go to their first big fan convention together someday 💜.
-Though Aylen often has trouble opening up socially to others, she’s alot more talkative when it’s either her and Feora alone together, or even around Feora’s garden back home as the Efornian flora there is very much “alive” to speak to. Aylen has even made friends with a living rose bush with its own community of pixie-people inside.
-One time for a Magical Science Fair, Feora and Aylen managed to take home the first prize ribbon with their experiment involving incubating a dormant dragon egg (thought to just be a big stone Aylen found in the woods at first). The baby is currently residing back at Aylen’s home with her mother Freya, as it’s a type of dragon breed that’s naturally “short” and easy to care for (think of it like an irl-Shetland pony).
-Through one brand of a random misadventure the girls got dragged into (namely, following after Haezel’s friends sneaking out late at night), Aylen and Feora already know of Professor Nile’s secret as a vampire (but of course, true to their humble & kind natures, they’ve both sworn to keep it a secret for his sake 🥺).
-Aylen’s always had a great fear of the dark (even now as a preteen), so much that Feora’s taken to sending out a dim, calming light aura to help her friend sleep soundly at night~ ☺️
