3/4 pieces I have/want in my office at home. 1&2 are sister pieces, Don Juan & Casanova, by Louis Icart in 1928. They’re etchings, not paintings. The 3rd is by Frank Dicksee is ‘La Belle de sans Merci’ c. 1901, and is part of a series involving the two lovers. The 4th is another Icart titled ‘Lovers,’ also c. 1928. Icart was an active and popular artist for many years, but 1928 was HIS YEAR. I discovered him by accident after a friend found Don Juan in a consignment shop and I fell in love with it.
