i have chosen this path to study in order to create beautiful,nourishing things. to create spaces for life and love to thrive. to grow food to feed communities.

to realise an occupation of this kind means i have to prioritise myself more times than i don’t. i have to care for my soul, watch my thoughts, strengthen my discipline. i have to turn down social events with college mates from time to time and be okay with time alone spent studying, reading, writing, and pursuing other selected social time outside of college. i cannot allow myself to be completely sucked into the social dynamics of the group at the detriment of my values, my mental emotional well-being, and my studies.
