Day 7 — Free Day💀 [Post-Canon]
feat. Priscilla Thorne (Dead), when Emmrich was turned back to normal (he's a Lich in this setting, so I doubt he can be turned into stone, at least not for long?), finding the remains of his dearest in the Fade after months of research. Priscilla is a veteran Grey Warden in my headcanon, who was starting to hear the Calling when she met Varric, and decided finding Solas would be her last "quest", knowing she would die. She counterbalances Emmrich's thanatophobia with her vision of life: Prisce new her time was counted, but enjoyed every minutes left fully, allowing herself to live until death finally caught her. She's a Necromancer, too, so her point of view on death is peculiar. Priscilla witnessed death first hand in battle, used dead to fight for the living, and knew she would die as soon as she survived the Joining. She fully accepted that fate. And never regretted a second. Her love for Emmrich made her feel more alive in her last moments, knowing he would survive it all, as a Lich. Knowing his fear could be put to rest. That nothing held him back anymore. He would have the time he always wanted to read, study, travel... in a world freed from the Evanuris. She found peace.
"In war, victory. In vigilance, sacrifice. In death, peace.", such was the way she liked to repeat the Grey Warden's motto. Inverting words to fit her ideals.
