The process is technically pretty simple, though actually going through with the process may result in some emotional difficulties.

Step one:  Reach your highest level.Step two:  Locate your land’s quest bed.  It should be a big slab of rock with your aspect’s associated coloration and symbol.Step three:  Die on the quest bed.

One you complete those steps, you’ll be godtier.  Of course, unless you’re lucky enough to have paradox space decide that some enemy is meant to appear right as you locate the quest bed and kill you then and there, self-terminating or getting someone else to do the deed can be quite difficult.  I had a bit of luck involved in doing the process myself, and there are certainly some out there that can handle the situation on their own, like Rexton, but I’d imagine that not everyone is as lucky as myself or, uh, confident as Rexton.
