A game of hunting was always fun when the people were interesting. Especially people who were so high and mighty. Those were always the funniest one to watch go. The hunt was not those who were innocent, oh no, she disliked needless bloodshed, but today was special. Today the hunt was on those who fucked up big time in the field, the traitors and the cowards who were acting like they were the center of the attention for whole ten years. A rare show, indeed, but it wasn’t her game. Zarina was simply here to enjoy the show, a spectator who allowed this to happen without burying them alive under the piles of ice and snow, making them shatter into nothingness, leaving nothing from them... As if they never existed. No blood, no bones, no clothes. But then again, it would be worse for her to get rid off these people who were creating such barbaric games. They’d get boring really fast, five minutes in and she’d know the winner and the loser, wanting out.
The woman of her statue was to be saved for the future, but there were countless of other people who could be more prestigious to spend time with in the eyes of Sokolova. But something in this woman caught her attention, the coquettish and cunning look of a fox would mean bad business for many people. However, Zarina wanted to play around just a bit more, but in a different way. Why? The aura. The gaze. The pose. The way she carried herself. Glorious, truly glorious. She wanted to hear more about her.
“Human trafficking, drug dealing, stabbing their boss in the back to take his place? I don’t like watching weak getting bullied, but traitors? Cowards? Oh, that can be a five-minute entertainment. Makes you happy, Lady of Justice?” Zarina chuckled as she didn’t look away as she exposed the crimes of today’s prey. Her expression remained mysterious, her voice was nonchalant and calm without any problems. Sokolova didn’t feel anything towards those people, they were just a game of tag, they’d lose either way, but it didn’t matter. There’s beauty in being bored forever, she’d create her own entertainment just like now. “And you’ve got one thing wrong. It’s not my game, I am the honored guest. People here want me to stay here, kiss my ass, ask for my help, so they thought it’d be a fun thing for me to watch, but hey.” Zarina winked, voice lowered down and became just a tad bit quieter to make sure no one heard.
“I found you, my attention is now not on that boring game of five-second guess game of who’s going to win.” She shrugged, continuously showing there’s nothing in it for her now. It’s not going to fun and she wanted to get out. Priscilla was a valuable excuse to get out without those losers trying to make her stay. “I like bets in casinos. The real casinos, but I like to get something from it. Money, alcohol, sex. Short-satisfying pleasures because punks here cannot provide me to my satisfaction, ever.” Eyes gleamed like beast’s the never-satisfied apathetic beast that finally got a toy it wished to play with for a long time. Ever bored, ever dissatisfied, ever isolated.
“Now, Lady Priscilla, do you really think a trial will make any of those people go to jail? You don’t know, do you? Policemen are down there, politicians are down there, CEOs of some companies are down there. And all of them was to suck up to me. Let’s be real, if anyone’s going to court, it’d be a scapegoat that’ll be unfortunate enough,” another shrug, she didn’t threaten the maiden in front of her. It was a simple statement of a fact that no one here today will go to court. This world was not that nice and sweet. Justice bend down before money and power. “Did I answer your questions enough?”
