Back to this blog after years because I have been re-watching PLL. I binge watched it in a month, and when I started I thought “Maybe you’re not going to love Spaleb that much this time around, ater all it’s been five years and you always liked Spoby and Haleb”.
Boy, was I wrong. I do. I love them more than I have ever loved any other couple in PLL and as much as my all-time favourite tv-shows couples. They just WORKED. They had a beautiful friendship which they cultivated for years before getting together, they were both super smart, they admired and trusted the other.
Have I mentioned THE THREE YEARS THEY SPENT TOGETHER IN WASHINGTON AFTER RANDOMLY MEETING IN MADRID AND REALISING THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO LET THE OTHER GO AGAIN?
And to be honest, Caleb and Hanna were never the same after Ravenswood, and Spencer and Toby were barely together in 6A. Spaleb would have been the best ending for both Spencer and Caleb, and I will be forever bitter about how they treated and dismissed them after showing us how beautiful they were together.

I blame the writers. I rewatched the episodes before catching up and Marlene literally written Caleb so inconsistent like.👀👀From Hanna's end she was obviously uncomfortable with Spaleb, and wasn't over him but they had Caleb fall for Spencer, with episodes all up on Spencer and even given up a job for her. Don't mean to crash your blog but there isn't too many Spaleb supporters. I even shipped her with Toby and was ready to accept Spoby again but the whole thing was disgusting.

They really talked about Spaleb living together, being in DC together, having wanted this since they ran into each other THREE YEARS AGO. And then he just like... forgets and goes back to Hanna and I just...
I honestly hate it all so much. They really had to reach so hard to get spoby and haleb back together and I'm sorry but both those ships were so fucking ugly by then I can't see how anyone would want them together.
It upsets me greatly that of all the end game ships Ezria is somehow the healthiest and it's like literally the grossest. I can't.
