Nothing makes my movements faster than removing a like from an image created by AI.
Maybe my Tumblr account is cursed, or something, but I suddenly started having a full feed of AI generated pictures.
And I don't mean examples of AI images in posts that are supposed to talk about AI in general. Or AI images used as a reference pic to draw another art (especially when the artist mentions that they used a certain AI image as a reference picture). Those are fine.
What I mean are AI images that are being posted only to get attention. When the person is using those AI images, especially for certain fandoms, as their main content. Just to show your favourite shounen fantasy character as a football player in our times! Because this is what I got a problem with. Because this is not even low effort content anymore. This is just a simple lack of effort. Putting a prompt into an AI program is not an effort and never will be. And there's no such a thing as AI artist (especially because AIs, at least most of them, are based on stolen art).
I'm not an AI hater in general and I think it can be a really great tool for people - as long as people know how to use it. And when they take something and put something from themself.
I'm a hater of behaviour that lacks this effort. When a person doesn't put anything from themself and calls it a day. And I know I don't have to look at those accounts. And you know what? I don't. I blocked them all. But I just feel like this is a very important topic, so I wanted to voice my thoughts here.
Of course this problem is much bigger, especially in times when you can also pretend to be someone else. But I just started having a full feed with those AI images. Has anyone else had the same problem recently?
