sloth !
SLOTH – cessation of motion and an indifference to work.
Leander rested his head in his hand, pressing his forehead against his palm as his elbow propped it up on the table he and Calliope had taken up. A sigh laced with frustration puffed out of him, as he stared down at the potions textbook in front of him.
Calliope turned a page, a maddeningly quiet noise that seemed far too loud for the bad mood Leander was in.
“I’m just gonna not go to this O.W.L. — I’m just… I’m just not going to show up. I hate potions, it doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m not doing this.” Leander glared down at the textbook, the measurements and instructions may as well have been in Greek to him. He ran a hand through his hair.
Slammed the textbook shut.
It made Calliope jump, the other fifteen year old having been far more focused than Leander.
“Fuck this,” Leander said, “I’m going to fail anyway what’s the point.” He glanced up to Calliope. “Let’s get some supper.”
