Plan a day when doing nothing productive at all. Because you don’t need to be productive all the time. Stay away from it, and get the hunger up.

Not feeling creative, or in the mood? Accept it. Don’t try and force it. Soon as you tell yourself, and is ok with it, ”I’m not creative” you will probably be.

Do nothing at all. No smartphone, no talking, no TV, no reading. Watch a fire, a river or a wall. Embrace being with yourself, without having to do distractions. What does your mind tell you?

Go for a walk when thinking about something complicated. Your mind will solve whatever riddle that teases you.

Play. Be childish and have fun. Playing looses up the stiffness of the mind.

Create easy routes for todo-creation,so that you got as few inboxes as possible to check when it’s time to prioritize and plan. And make it easy to take notes!
Keep a physical notebook at hand, or use an app that can be fired up very easily, ready to catch that idea ASAP.
Set up contacts in your smartphone, with ”mail to” addresses to your todo apps. You can also use the sharing function, and post everything to the same app even if you’re working in some other apps. There are some different options for this.
