One more day of the week long audition, and then one ballet class on Saturday to perform our class we've been doing all week. It's a Russian style ballet class which I'm not used to, I usually study Cechetti, and the professional division classes at this ballet school are based on the Vagonova teaching method or syllabus or however it is conversed, lol. IT SUCKS, because I want to do the program if I get accepted but I just don't know if I want to sacrifice my energy and time, dancing from 8:30-6 Monday to Friday plus one ballet class Saturday and assisting classes on Saturday with Sunday off. But then if I don't do it, I'll be going to university and like I know what classes I want to take but I don't know what the jobs are from that degree, and then I'd only be dancing ballet 5 hours a week at a much lower level at my studio. Ugh. Guys what's your take on this? Everyone says do what you love, do what you can because school will always be there but this isn't a dancing focused program, its a teacher training program so not only will I be doing my advanced 1 exam (I've never done exams) I will also be getting trained in the professional division, taking pedagogy classes, music theory and a bunch of those kind of background classes in order to build knowledge for teaching, yenno. I just don't know, because I don't want to do the full three year program, I just wanted to take it so I could dance, this right here, guys, is my dilemma. Lol. Sorry for the long rant! For those of yo who actually read it.
