The most awkward thing about having the same piercer for years is she watched me grow up I feel very embarrassed remembering my first piercing

Does anybody know how to find a good piercer these days? It used to be I would just ask my friends who they go to, but I moved interstate and then didn’t manage to make any new friends because I was too wrapped up in my romantic relationship, and that ended. So like, how do I find one now? Or can anybody recommend me someone in the south eastern Massachusetts/Rhode Island area?

i hate people who can't look past physical looks. Like, my piercer is the absolute goat, hes the best piercer in my city and whenever my friends ask who I go to and when I show them my piercers insta they immediately get icky and weirded out by him and his "vibe", they act like he's the devil himself, he's pretty alternative, he's on the older side, (he's 41) and his tattoo studio is pretty cool if you ask me, he has some awesome posters of baphomet, some creepy and gnarly looking posters, as well as small statues and creepy decorations in general, hes a metalhead, he always plays metal, dsbm, etc. but when I tell you there is no better piercer in my city I'm not even lying😭I have never once had a bad experience, I swear this man has the hands of god, hes really light handed which makes piercings so much less painful, he has amazing prices (in my opinion at least) and I have nothing to complain about with him lol, but my friends absolutely refuse to see him and instead go to people who are NOT professionals and people who pierce with GUNS! But they still go to them because they're cheap, and then they ask me "ugh how do your piercings heal so well!" And I'm like "well unlike SOME people I go to professionals who knows what they're doing" and then they're like "there's literally no difference" like yes there is girl, I pay a bit more and get pierced by a professional, YOU go to unqualified people who use piercing guns. If a person's style and looks are the only determination factor as to who you go to, then fine, enjoy your infected piercings then💜
