Another post! I don’t care if they are back to back, I’m motivated so I’m typing! . If you recall I have been an Health & Fitness adjunct faculty member teaching an Urban Hiking class since Spring 2019. You may also recall I taught the class virtually for 3 semesters - yes a hiking class virtually. However the students planned and went out on their own hikes and I did my lectures via Zoom. It worked, but I must admit I was so glad to be back teaching the course in person this fall. . It is only a half semester course so we actually just wrapped up this past weekend. It was great getting back out to these DC trails I love (thankfully I had been on most of them with friends during the pandemic). It was also nice to reconnect with students after leaving my full time job in education 4 months ago. Although of course I had students miss deadlines and assignments and give me sob stories which I don’t miss! . I look forward to teaching again in the spring starting in March. I get paid to hike, talk with people and discuss health & fitness! This summer or late spring I recorded a version of my course lectures over a few weeks so check back at my Instagram TV or grid to view them! . #profjenn #profjj #urbanhikers #urbanhiking #optoutside #dc #healthylifestyle #fitnessmotivation #fitness https://www.instagram.com/p/CU837D_L5OM/?utm_medium=tumblr
