Project BAU is coming along nicely!

I have at the ready the first 3 chapters, and a total of 12k words! Wow, that's a lot.

Not gonna lie, I thought before that 3 chapters would be enough for the whole story, but now I'm thinking I'll need something closer to 6-9 chapters to conclude it with all the angst I am yearning to write on these Cookies.

Considering each chapter's current word count, this might end me with a ~30k word fanfic.... Gawd dammit, I did it again (WHY CAN'T I WRITE SHORT STORIES!?)

*Also, I purposely haven't yet named explicitly what BAU means hahaha! Gonna do it once I launch the first chapter, or when I'm close to publishing it (probably someday next week if everything goes according to plan)

*Also also, what do you guys feel abt one chapter with around 4k words every two days? I'm thinking of releasing them like this instead of weekly, considering it is a shorter story compared to CCL.

Got the peach skin yesterday on my literal first 5 pull, I had nothing else on Rainbow Cubes bc of Silent Salts skin (bro was so salty it dried up all my Rainbow Cube savings).

Then today I got Millennial Tree's skin (around Lv 3ish in the gacha), AND then I got Millennial Tree with the Soul Stones I got from his gacha...

Guys, I fear some kind of curse is gonna come for my ass after such luck, wtf--send help!

Chapter Scheduling Question

Quick question y'all!

I'm planning to release the first chapter of project BAU on Monday (12/22), and I would like to know if you guys would rather have three chapters per week or two chapters per week.

Do be aware that the chapters can be somewhat emotionally heavy, and I am conflicted because while I could, theoretically, sustain three chapters (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), it might be a bit much to some people (also, varying around 3.5 to 4.5k words per chapter), thus I thought about releasing instead two chapters per week (Wednesday and Sunday).

Do you guys have a preference or thoughts on it?

*Do be aware that the last few chapters might get delayed once I get back to CCL (where it has a Saturday release scheduling, and I use Friday to review the chapter, meaning I might need to change the date of the last few chapters on BAU as CCL will take preference due to the hiatus)

Chapter release schedule

Three Chapters (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

Two Chapters (Wednesday, Sunday)

Snow falls thickly outside the Citadel walls. Dark Choco, small and shivering, was struggling to keep up as Dark Cacao marched ahead through the usual scouting route. It is the child’s first time outside the walls, fur still not prepared to deal with the sudden cold surge. His father stops and turns around, violet eyes looking him from top to bottom for a brief moment. Without a word, the heavy and beautifully crafted robe of the King is removed, then draped over and around Choco’s shoulders. “Stay close,” The Commander says quietly, “The cold is unforgiving.”
