31/03/17 Dungeons and Dragons! Today I experienced creating and developing characters, and putting them into different scenarios. This allowed me to understand the concept of character design and storytelling, it was also extremely fun! This is good because my project is focused on bodies, because in the future I want to character design once I get more experience in designing bodies.
I made this soundtrack with the audacity software, and I recorded from YouTube and remixed it with multiple sounds. This project is about how I hear every day through my hearing aids based on audiogram, a different level, dB, to display what sound that I only can hear. In the soundtrack, you will hear motorcycle, arabic drumming, bell ringing, chattering, and clapping sounds.
Six Final Photos.
05/05/17 - Weekly Evaluation
This week was very busy; two anatomical pieces of body art were created, one on myself with Special FX Wax, and one on my friend Jade, on her face. I am not Photoshopping the piece of art I made on myself, as for me it was only an improvement on the original leg piece I did and shows my progress and understanding of muscle placements and how to make them look real, it is not for my final piece. However, the photography I did with Jade has been Photoshopped and edited to look as good as possible, as that I will be using for my final piece, alongside the three photos of Adelina. I also created a time-lapse of my painting, showing the process I went through.

This week has been extremely productive for me, and I don’t think there is anything I could’ve done ‘better’, as I was busy with work the entire week. I started with experimenting with Lightroom, and lower quality photos of the body art I painted on Adelina, then after I got the final high quality photos, I Photoshopped them and put them into Lightroom (with more experience), editing them ready to be printed out. Five different photos were edited, but I will only be printing out three for the show, hopefully in A2 on glossy paper. I also finished off another artist response through Photoshop. I will post a time-lapse for this later on.

This week has had its ups and downs. I attempted to do another anatomy piece on someone’s back, but it didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped. There were a lot of complications with filming a time-lapse along with an underestimation of the time needed for the massive back canvas painting. I have unfinished photos, but I’m not sure if I will post them. When I get back to college, however, I will put together the time-lapse of the painting I had done so far, along with a better evaluation of the day.
The rest of the week was successful. I found another artist to add to my collection of artist studies, I completed more sketchbook work and did an artist response body painting, which I evaluated in its own post.

This week has helped my decide my final piece. I started off the week with sketchbook work and artist responses, then finished with my first proper anatomical body art piece. It went extremely well, albeit being slightly rushed due to our time limit. We also didn’t have room nor time to do any dancing, so I was only able to take photos. I could possibly try doing dancing with other people, but I am extremely content with this piece, and I want to include it in my final piece. Therefore, my final piece\art to put in the show will be photography.
