Suzaka Lunatari is a former soccer superstar who stopped playing abruptly for mysterious reasons. With his dreams of going pro gone, Suzaka jumps headfirst into opportunity when a mysterious blonde girl invites him into another world. There he meets Fai and Denali, two older kids who found the digital world years before- and their digimon. Together they discover what it means to be digidestined, running into new friends Adele and Ikali along the way. Their mysterious guide is revealed to be Pace, a young wild child who ran away from home to the digital world years ago. She tells them a storm is coming and their merry little band may be all that stands between both worlds and total annihilation!
