DoubleVizions presents Project Takeover!
If you missed #ProjectTakeover last night, then you seriously missed out on something epic!
In a super hush-hush warehouse located in the industrial streets of downtown LA, @DoubleVizions threw a party that hit capacity in record time.
Aimed towards all 18+ Los Angeles college students, #ProjectTakeover hit various campuses these past few weeks promoting what turned out to be, a night that will go down in history.
Filling up two levels and a private, rooftop VIP section, the Takeover was real last night.
There to support the Takeover was @RedbullLAX, providing coolers full of their new Red, Silver and Blue flavors.
At precisely 10pm, a blue light illuminated the entry of the exclusive, pre-sale only, underground party held at The House of Gods off Union Pacific Ave.
From the moment the first party bus arrived until the last taxi left, the energy of the students was turned up!
Guests arrived to the sounds of @YoungCalifornia’s own @DJaySkillz penetrating the 6,000 square foot venue, bringing everyone straight to the dance floor ready to drop it to the floor.
Within an hour, the Redbull coolers were halfway gone and cups were flowing full of what became known to a select few as, the “Nasty” mix.
Inspired by Tyga’s hit single “Make It Nasty”, some students were mixing all three Redbull flavors together in a concoction that raised the energy in the room to another level!
As the night continued, students dripped in sweat from the heat of the dance floor, continuously moved to the rooftop, where they were able to get a chance to cool off and grab a drink.
When the clock struck 12:30am, students were hit with a switch in beats as @Power106LA’s very own @DJBeatdrop took over the illuminated turntables.
Playing hit after hit, students started to dance on the couches and twerk on stage, making sure to always show love to the various cameras and cell phones in the crowd.
After a successful night of dancing and celebrating, the crowd began to leave, group by group, until the black lit halls were emptied once again, leaving only a trace of what was one of the best parties thrown this quarter!
