PROJECT: Overdrive - The City

So, I just noticed...

There are symbols that looks oriental on the buildings in the video, but there are symbols as well that reminds me the one you could see in Ekko’s splash art, in the poster/sign behind him... 

And given the fact that it’s the future AND that Zaun is a land where wild experiments are something that happen A LOT and that it’s a vertical city...

Now I’m pretty much divided, since it can be a (very) furutistic Ionian city (it doesn’t mean that Ionia stopped having its traditional cities, this could be an exception though to make the land “revive” and a way to adapt to the future and its relationships with other cities) and this PROJECT experiment be something secret that the ones ruling Ionia wouldn’t be aware of...

... Or it can either be Zaun in a future, a Zaun that managed to be better (you can see more cleanliness, everything more illuminated and in order and so on) as Ekko dreamed of, but that it would still have its mad scientists running their experiments, or maybe simplily it didn’t reach that “better” stage and those wild experiments are still running on the city without much control, wanted or not to be something controlled.

If it was Ionia it would imply that it would be VERY far in the future, while Zaun has the base of a futuristic city that just needs to be better/to improve. If it was Ionia, I would say it would be, minimum, 30 years later from the present. If it was Zaun, I would even give it the little amount of 10 years to look like that, maybe 15.

So, I’m kind of doubting as of now... A LOT.

Still, don’t know wether the symbols seen in Ekko’s splash art are JUST ZAUNITE ONES or the ones of a “general” language spread in Valoran and/or Runeterra (meaning that for example Ionia could have its own language and this general one).

So, gonna think about this a bit before continue writing ideas for my fanfiction... I’ll need it, certainly xD
