[#projectgratitudeday7] . "Mindfully, then mindlessly" . Over the past 7 days, I've shared some ways we can shift our focus to #activelyappreciate the people, places, and things in our lives that make those random Tuesdays feel pretty rad. And I want to keep the good vibes rolling. So let's begin to think about turning this practice into habit. . Pick your medium. Personally, I keep an actual gratitude journal. It's small, fits in my purse, and I almost always have it with me 👜📕. If journaling isn't your thing, you could start to keep a note on your phone, send an email to yourself, or maybe it's a phone call to your voicemail that you reflect on your day when you're stuck in traffic on the way home from work 🚗. If you have a partner, spouse, kids, a pet you feel particularly close to 😽 - this could be a reflection to have together over breakfast, or dinner, or tucking into bed for the night. What was cool about today? And why? 🤔 . Because I want everyone to look forward to their Tuesdays and stop "ughing" till the weekend, I encourage you to give this practice a try. Because it's 🆓. And it makes you feel good. And it's scientifically proven to improve your satisfaction with life. Gratitude = happy af. Science y'all. . Let's trust the habit and take that first step over and over and over...until the temporary becomes permanent, and the gratitude for life's beautiful moments becomes a natural habit.
