I was at the Western U.S. Nevada American Elegance Pageant when I was told photo's of the @itreesofhope3 Brunch I attended was shared on the local News by @project.marilyn.lv So great to have the Brunch Pics shared as that was a very inspiring day. I got introduced to Project Marilyn by doing this pageant. I can't wait to help out and donate more to "Ending Period Poverty" ! Get on Facebook and search both organizations. Today was what I needed in every way. Life has a way of beating you up an yet still have to remain with a smile on your face. Well, no you don't. Cause I cried with women today I don't even know an that inspires my HOPE. I attended @itreesofhope3 Inspiring Hope Brunch which supported an amazing organization @project.marilyn.lv I was honored to meet Wendi the creator behind the organization. I was touched to hear that Marilyn is actually her mother an how cancer unfortunately took her too soon. Yet, Hope inspired also by the birth of her son to create Project Marilyn. A non-Profit raising awarness about Ladies Periods. Providing feminine hygiene to young ladies an women in need. I took so much away from today like what girls with single dad's are suppose to do... I encourage you to look into this Organization an donate Tampons, Pads, Disposal underwear. "Much is needed an a woman no matter her Choices in Life will have a Period." Let's help other girls, ladies, an women who need us. I have so many @allure an @ipsy bags along with others I usually got free along the way. I thought one day of making Period bags for the homeless. Then I met GiGi at a Pageant practice where I learned about @itreesofhope3 She then invited me to the Brunch an told me about Project Marilyn. Today I can now have a place to donate my extra makeup bags. Mine I brought today contain a facial mask, hair tie, tampon, pads, an liner. If any friends or family has many make-up bags you'd like to donate that are new or lightly used. I would be happy to take them in o donate. I had a great day finding my own hope. Networking with a bunch of huge hearted women. An always feel good when I can give back and help the world we all share. Lucky was even on my side today... I won an Oil Change!
