Look how far I’ve come... . It hit me today while in the #artsdistrict with my amazing boyfriend in Oak Cliff how far I’ve come in this life. . This area in #oakcliff is now a hipster hangout but when I was young it was a very different place. . I grew up in the projects (literally) in Oak Cliff-one of the most poor and dangerous places in Dallas. Now I live in one of the nicer suburbs of Dallas, support myself doing what I love, and have income and flexibility to hang out in the middle of the week in hipster digs. .
