IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Major change is occurring in the story, all the different planets in the Bria solar system are now instead continents on one big planet (will post a map eventually.) Marindon, however, will be the moon of the planet, which we're just gonna call Bria which WAS the name of their sun but I'll think of something else dw about it. So anyways all the blorbos live on the same planet now YAAAAAY

Promilan Fun Fact!!

They have a system of personality labels based on when someone is born, similar to our human system of horoscopes and zodiac signs. Theirs is instead based on what time of day someone is born and it's divided into four categories, described below.

Born 24:00-5:59 - Called, in Promilanian, "mibu a diadas" which means "infant of the night," stereotyped as not concerned about schedules, spontaneous and open-minded.

Born 6:00-11:59 - Called, in Promilanian, "mibu a edras" which means "infant of the rising sun," stereotyped as early, overexcited and high energy.

Born 12:00-17:59 - Called, in Promilanian, "mibu a medona" which means "infant of the midday," stereotyped as on-schedule, mature and obsessed with organization.

Born 18:00-23:59 - Called, in Promilanian, "mibu a septunus" which means "infant of the rising moon," stereotyped as late, laid-back and nonconfrontational.

While this practice began in Promilan, it has no connection to the Hothistic religion and is mostly just for funsies. The practice has spread throughout the solar system and the Cloudians kinda took it and ran with it, their stereotypes get much more specific.

Bria Fact #9: According to Promilanian tradition, when Iesu, the lowest ranking god in the Promilanian pantheon and third of Felias and Fasos' triplet children, was born, he was biologically female which had been foretold in a prophecy. But when he popped out the womb, he told his parents he wasn't having a good time in his physical form and he'd rather be male. And who are they to say no to their newborn baby? Give the kid what he wants! So Felias used her godly magic to reform little Iesu's body to make him male instead.

This led to a very passionate acceptance of trans people throughout Promilanian history and they have NO issues with the queers.

Bria Fact #7: Members of the Cult of Miños will refer to them as the king or their king (since Miños created all the gods and the universe itself) which most other Hothistics are fine with. Except for the Cult of Allphas.

Allphas is the official king of the gods and every cult acknowledges him as such, that's just a part of the religion. And on paper and according to leaders of the Cult of Allphas there isn't any moral issue with referring to Miños as king or ruler, but regular members of the cult are still picky about it and will mutter angrily to themselves when they hear someone call Miños king.

Bria Fact #6: Most of the Promilanian cults include music in their weekly services and the music can vary quite a lot.

For example, in the Cult of Judit, the music is mostly ominous chanting done by a choir. In the Cult of Pyrrhas, the music involves a lot of drums and percussion, but really mostly drums.

But the Cult of Miños, which is considered a very prestigious and serious cult, has by far the most high-energy music. Think like live recordings of praise and worship music, or More Abundantly by Ricky Dillard, just insane energy and religious fervor, that's what they've got in the Cult of Miños.

Bria Fact #4: When the Promilanian pantheon was formed, the original creator god, Miños, gave the gods plenty of rules and instructions, but they made it very clear that the number one rule that could never be broken was that gods were not allowed to procreate with mortals. If a god were to do this, the consequences were said to be so severe that only Miños themself could comprehend them.

Of course, the gods were allowed to create beings using their godly powers, that is how Promilan became populated. And there were many instances of gods having romantic relationships with mortals (any conception was prevented with the use of divine powers.) Essentially, if someone were to break the rule, they would have to do it deliberately and consciously. And since Miños has since given up their seat of power, they would only be able to sense the imbalance after the child was born, so, again, you'd have to really try to break the rule. So far, it has never been attempted to be broken, but one of the gods will soon change this...
