I’ve slowly been chipping at Infinity Train the past couple weeks. I try to stop myself from binging shows at a time so I watch an episode or two of a show at a time then move to another.

ANYWAY

Season. Two’s. Finale.

Fucking Brilliant

Not gonna spoil. But it used a fact established in the first and second season to solve the last problem in the second season. I saw it and beamed. Obvious in hindsight, but AWESOME as you watch it.

And the emotional beats in the latter half of the last episode just. Right in the feels. Best friendship. No romance, just friendship, and since I’m aro/ace, I appreciate that. A lot.

And all this gushing is a liiittle late considering the #finishinfinitytrain campaign yesterday

Got all my con purchases, except one GORGEOUS Peridot print à la the Diamond Murals because it was put in a poster tube in a friend’s car. I’m too lazy to drive the half hour to go get it tonight >.> I’ll edit it into this tomorrow along with anything else I may have missed.

I am so weak when it comes to plushies but there were good deals this year! The Gato/Tailmon is an investment in an eventual Kairi cosplay. THE CAT IS SO FLUFFY AND I NAMED HIM COCOA-KUN AND HE IS NOW MY SNUGGLE BUDDY!

Anime finds were great, just like last year. I found two rare, out of print anime for drop dead pricing, and one of them was in the Dealer’s Room!!!

Excuse the doggy snout in one of the pics, that is my doggy Lucy and she photobombed at the last second. Also, the last picture is a sort of dice cage necklace I am SO going to use when I finally get a chance to dungeon master a D&D game. The die is removable.

EDIT: I cannot BELIEVE I forgot to add my new dual swords! Now my katana has an off-set! It’s Archer’s swords from Fate/Stay Night! Like My katana purchase just felt right to get it. Good thing, too, cuz I didn’t see the display swords a day later.

And there it is, the gorgeous Period print à la the Diamond Murals, purchased by a friend from the... Craft Fair... I think?

Not as much bought at Bronycon, but I love what I got.

Once again, I am weak for plushies... but I just couldn’t justify the plushies that were going for $250 to upwards of $1500!!! Thankfully, my group found the officially licensed plushies that were of actual good quality (We’re so used to seeing the bad beanie baby or Build-a-Bear ones). I did get a semi-expensive ‘gasping’ Fluffle Puff before I found FluffyMixer’s stand, but I still love them both, along with my Best Pony Fluttershy!

The mini Pinkie Pie was a gift from a “Dapper Pinkie Pie” cosplayer, who also gave me candy, which I gave to kids with parents permission. Just realized I forgot to mention that in my highlights page.

We stayed at the Marriot and they changed the look of their card keys just for the con! They also told us when we checked out that we could keep the cards as a memento! So we did!

Last, but not least, the GORGEOUS Celestia and Luna wall scroll. This thing is so much bigger than my other posters and I love it. The detail in this scroll is worth every penny.
