Anyways. Aside the confirmation the mom & daughter duo flew in and were probably brought in there the morning of the event by car, this other phrase is something I am taking stock of:

'We've got some other local businesses here represented. We'd love to encourage more of the local businesses to get involved'. [02:53 - 03:12]

I think the event definitely lacked proper planning. There are not that many local businesses in the area and his distillery business partners could probably have done a better scouting and co-opting job.

No trace of Madam Mao. Not even on that semi-obscure local press outlet.

Colantotte Fan Meeting, Aug. 21. Around 2000 people showed up for the event, more than 4 times the attendance in 2017. Brief summary of Q&A from various fans' tweets:

Shoma injured his right hand in Chicago when he fell while running (hence the bandage), it still hurts but is healing quickly and does not affect his training. (x)

He used to like milk tea a lot and drank 2-3 every day, but not anymore. (x)

He tried sake on his 20th birthday. His favorite alcoholic drink is Cassis Orange. He drinks it alone at home. He's tried beer and wine, but thinks it's maybe too early for him to drink it. (x, x)

At first, he was embarrassed to perform Shae-Lynn's program because he felt that he was not able to perform it properly, but now he hopes to continue improving and show the best he can do. (x, x)

Moonlight Sonata was chosen as his free skate music last season. There were two choices for his short program; Shoma picked Stairway to Heaven. When told that his SP music was an arrangement of a famous song, he said that he had never heard it before. (x, x)

Blue is maybe his third-favorite color. His favorite color is black. "Like your suit today?" He said his outfit was just laid out for him when he woke up. (x)

"Gaming for me is like...work." (x)

There was a draw for 50 people to shake hands with Shoma. Shoma shook with his left hand. (x)

At the end of the event, Shoma thanked the audience for coming and listening to his "boring talk". (x)
