Notes with Anita Skeeter: Why you should care for Magical Creatures Reporter: A. Skeeter | 08/05/2016
To my devoted, loving and marvellously curious readers, The Notes of Anita Skeeter returns to you with updates from our Beast Division’s very own Mr Henney’s seminar on How to care for your Magical Creatures. How has long term integrated education between Humans and Beasts affected the minds of our children? What sort of adventures do they face in school corridors and, most importantly, what our readers are most interested in – how will our brilliant Henney reform the errors in judgement we have made?
A man of intrigue and mystery, he is the head of his department and has revolutionized our society, carrying the moral values and beliefs of our ministry with pride and confidence. A towering man with broad shoulders, a quietly wise demeanour and – frankly – the most smouldering good looks this writer has ever laid eyes upon, it is without surprise that his leadership has awakened our younger generation. Slowly, but surely, Henney’s work will restore order and peace on our troubled times.
However, in order to properly see the effect of his immense efforts, we must look back on how our children are living at Hogwarts, surrounded by beasts and Veela-driven temptations of which they have no power over. We interview two brilliant young minds and a well-spoken Veela lady from Hogwarts on their thoughts in regards to Henney’s seminar and the current Beastly climate.
Upon being asked about the presence of Beasts within the school, 6th year Slytherin, Thomas Do ( @slykyungsoo ), voices his concerns that “some of them can be quite…zealous, at maintaining their intimidating image.” He also states that he believes they will not attack, adding, and I quote “unless provoked.”
Perhaps only proof of how our Beasts students are defensive and unaccepting of their position in life, these concerning confessions from a Hogwarts student has people wondering about the welfare of other students. Skeeter here urges my readers not to worry though, for with Henney’s unparalleled guidance, the ministry is working towards creating a better world, one in which Humans and Beasts can indeed live in harmony. Our human students will no longer have to fear their peers and will be sufficiently educated in how to best handle these easily provoked and illogical Beasts who have, in the past, been given free reign within castle walls.
Zicovian Blackaddler ( @slyzico ) , a 7th year student, states that “the brightest and best of our country have been in classrooms alongside beasts since the beginning of Hogwarts,” raising questions about whether boundless integration has been an issue from the start. There is no doubt that our students are beginning to understand the need for these regulations and, with time and Henney’s brilliance, we are sure to find cooperation – with what ever means – from our Beast population.
In regards to Veela students, the same student also admits that, “As a guy, I don’t have the greatest impulse control,” further proving the suggestion I have always had for education and society.
It is my personal belief that our Veela population should be more closely watched, perhaps just as much as Vampires and Werewolves. Since their gradual migration to our country some hundred years ago, they have been wrecking havoc on our Human population – especially within our men. Surely, we cannot continue to allow them to live freely amongst us unless they have been properly trained and taken care of? Their inarguable powers over our youth’s minds mean that they essentially live with Amortentia running through their veins – dangerous and shocking to even imagine.
Thankfully, of course, it seems that the amazing Henney is also an avid Skeeter reader because his policies seem to be taking Veela regulations in their stride. Fellow Veela student Isobel O’Kelly ( @ravisobel ), a tall girl of plain features inevitably masked with her natural charms says of her weekly consultations that “we were advised to avoid activities such as singing or dancing in public as everyone knows that such activities only… heighten our charms.”
I have no doubt that some of the Veela population, dear Isobel included, will be capable of living peacefully amongst our Human population so long as she is made aware and abides by the very necessary precautions put into place by Henney and his team. As she states so lovingly about him, “Truly, I feel like he’s taking the Ministry and ourselves in the right direction with all the decisions he has been calling as of late.”
Mr Henney, standing tall as an absolute vision in his dark as midnight robes and commanding presence, has guided our country’s youth. Taking into considering the concerned, and also the obedient, minds of our interviewees, I have no doubt that he will lead them into the right direction with little troubles. After all, he is a man of brilliance and intelligence.
Stay tuned, my readers, for the next installment of Notes with Anita Skeeter, where I will be discussing something a little more fun and lighthearted – beards; for all men or only a certain Beast Division head?
With all my love, Skeeter readers.
