at the same time there are trans people who don't think this is offensive at all. it's probably safer to not write it on tumblr, but people should understand it's not a community wide issue.

that doesnt mean it's not offensive? it doesn't mean that people shouldnt hold some amount of accountability for their own actions because this shit hurts the genderfluid and trans community as well as educates the ones that don't know or find any offense to it. the trans people that DO know about it STILL MATTER.

I find it funny how girls are expected to protect themselves

You know, carry their car keys like claws, have pepper spray and a stun gun on hand, maybe a knife. But when girls actually defend and pricey themselves from an attack, they're in the wrong. In what world does that actually make sense to people? People want girls to arm themselves against unwanted advance but aren't allowed to defend themselves from the unwanted advances.
