Poor Gerry Berry isn't doing too well. 😢 Unfortunately, his blood was tested and microfilaria are present 😢😢 Our fear is that the hw treatment isn't working. We added Sildinafil to his medication list to treat him for pulmonary hypertension. His coughing is worsening regardless of the medications that are added. He truly is in heart failure. Unless a miracle happens for sweet Gerald we feel his time will be soon. All of us and Gerry have fought so hard to get him healthy. This is what happens when you don't give your pets prevention. Some damage can not be undone. No matter how hard you try. Please keep Gerald in your thoughts and prayers. He needs all of us right now. This is Diesel, he will be joining the @whisperingwillowssds family tonight. This poor boy is late stage heartworm + and also has such bad allergies/skin issues. He has had constant ear infections untreated so he has lost most of his hearing. His person is moving and has left him alone for months due to her housing situation before that eight months ties outside. He deserves better than that, look at that innocent face. We are taking Diesel in on hospice. He is on slow kill heartworm treatment. We will be doing tests to see exactly where he is at, what is going on with his skin issues, and he's lost muscle mass on his head so we will be checking for other underlying issues.
