"As if some fire is going to hurt me! I'll stop your fire this time with my water!" Priscilla summons some water to try and put out the fire but... The fire is too strong and it simply evaporates the water.

"Oh... Well shi--"

"Priscilla, watch out!" Bastet rushes to Priscilla and kicks her out of the way of the fire. Priscilla doesn't get out unscathed though as her arm gets burned in the process. "Heal yourself before that wound gets worse."

"Woah close call there, Bastet. You just saved my butt. I thought I'd actually be able to stop the fire this time... Proteus, you okay?"

"Yep! I'm a-okay! Should I do it now?"

"Heh, yep!" Suddenly a large vortex of water surrounds Asta. It's not a powerful spell, but it is closing in on Asta. Priscilla's goal is to keep her in there for the time being.

"Heck yeah! I'm fully healed! Proteus your healing is always so good!"

"Well yeah, I'm--"

"Time to go find that demon again!"

"...This girl is going to have a short life..."

"Maybe we sho--"

"Well, maybe I take a few days and work out a new strategy first."

"Why did I get ignored again?"

"Gh-- Proteus, that hurts!"

"Yes I know, I'm making it hurt."

"What? Why? I'm already so hurt!"

"Because, you didn't listen to me. You should have ran when I told you to and now you're badly injured. Don't forget Priscilla, I chose you as my partner because I figured you'd need my help. But if you don't listen to me, you're going to die."

"Y-yeah... I know, I'm sorry. Can you please stop hurting me with your healing magic if I promise to listen to you from now on?"

"I'll think about it. I want to hear it first."

"I... I promise I'll listen to you from now."

"Perfect!"

"Ouch! Hey! It's still hurting!"

"I said I'd stop hurting you, I didn't say when."

Bastet sighs. "So I get no thanks despite using my magic to get the three of us out last minute huh?"

"Oh I have a very intense training regiment. First, we start with 100 push ups, 100 sit ups, 100 pull ups, then we do some sword training and magic training. Then of course all fighters need time to recover, so I take a short ten minute break and repeat. I'll do this three times a day. Sometimes I'll allow myself to let a large monster attack me a whole bunch to build up my durability. Then of course, I need to train my brain, the strongest weapon your body has. I'll do this b--"

"If you're going to lie, at least make it sound cooler. Like you slay 100 demons before breakfast and then drink their blood as part of your breakfast and then consume their meat for dinner."

"S-stop! That's too dark!"

"Just tell the truth Priscilla... It'll be more embarrassing if you lose in battle after claiming to do all that."

"Oh fine. What I said wasn't entirely a lie. I do 10 push ups, 10 pull ups and no sit ups because... Well, I'm sure some ladies will understand why. I don't slay any demons but I do practice with my sword and magic and study war books to help strategize in combat. I'll also practice with Proteus and Bastet to work on a team attacks.
