Still kinda rough and sketchy drawing of my witch character Prothea.
Hope to write something for her soon so here´s a visual plus short characterization down below. :)
Warning: Don´t read the last paragraph if spiders scare you a lot- her kindred spirit likes to take this shape and there´s a picture.
She loves wearing clothes that are richly and deep colored like dark violet, purple, red as well as grey and black.
Her magical fields of expertise are conjuration of spirits and creatures as well as shape shifting.
She had a mishap with this when she was younger which caused her eye and parts of her skin to deform and change permanently. (Hence the eye patch)
Despite the shape she´s in her altered eye will stay the same: It does not diminish the power of the chosen shape but the successful complete deception a normal shift could enable.
The witch seems to be very talkative and open with all kinds of spirits, demons and monsters. Can appear unapproachable or even hostile if met in a wrong mood by humans though.
Prothea is often accompanied by a spirit mostly manifesting as a huge velvety black spider: Imagine an adult female Grammostola pulchra tarantula but a lot bigger. Can appear as a regular sized one too though: Mostly just relaxing somewhere on her body.
The true form and strength of them is unknown to everyone else despite their mistress- they just favor this form because it tends to freak people out.
In contrary to Prothea herself who loves it a lot. Both the arachnid form and the fact that it adds an extra layer of “stay the hell away from me” to her already intimidating behavior.
