( do debts carry over into the afterlife ? )
he clears his throat in a bid for the woman's attention, but @proudlibrarian doesn't look at him. she seems angry. beni hopes not with him― since this isn't really his fault in the first place. but when he looks at her, beneath it all, she seems frightened. he decides to speak anyway, ❛ you know― ... ❜ he fidgets, glancing apprehensively towards their captor before back to her. ❛ if i know o'connell, i'm sure he's going to come for you. ❜
