Reasons I Love My Siblings...
Brother: Texts to ask how he should properly address someone without offending them. He doesn't want to use 'Sir' or 'Ma'am' and risk hurting someone's feelings.
Sister: Texts me random questions she has about the LGBT community both for her own education and so she is better informed to help her students. (She's a junior high science teacher)
I came out last year. I'm a late bloomer I guess you'd say. It's a long story. But my brother and sister have been pretty great. They've just been hesitant in asking me questions or opening dialogues. That has changed in the last week or so. It makes me sort of proud.
