That’s not me. 2
summary Your dating miles, but your confused when he creeps into your room crying about his spidermen friends and his dad.
a/n NVM YALL THE Pt2 CAME QUICKER THAN EXPECTED (I’ve been working on it since I released the first part:3)
P1
that’s not me.
You felt goosebumps rise along your skin as you read the text. The feeling of fear creeping up your back as miles gave you an unreadable stare.
Was he here to hurt you?
Was he going to attack?
What did miles mean, that wasn’t him?
What the fuck was even going on?
Did you really just kiss a stranger?
You felt sick, the fear was taking over, but your miles had taught you to always play it cool during dangerous situations and he’d be there in a minute. you cleared your throat, turning back to the spider boy.
“Miles you said, spiderman? Like from the old comics?” You chirped, all the fear that miles had creeping up melting away. “Yea! Look” thwip thwip, was the sound the webs made as he shot them from a small device on his wrist.
You kept asking questions, miles warming up to you even more as he sat on your bed and explained his whole spider-man story and how his dad was in danger.
but for a second, you forgot this wasn’t your miles, this wasn’t the miles that you met years before his dads death.
You both jumped at the sound of a heavy clash on the fire escape again. Miles threw his arm over you protectively, pushing you back and away from the window.
A claw slid the window open, neon pink and purple glowing slightly outlining the figure. You knew who it was, but for the sake of the other miles you acted scared. “There’s a prowler here?” He asked, his face twisting up in confusion as he turned to you.
Not even a second later, he was out on the floor. “Miles!” You yelled angrily as you stared at him in the prowler suit. “Que mami?” He asked, the headpiece folding back. “You didn’t have to hit him that hard” you kneeled besides the spiderboy, rubbing your thumb over the bruise now forming in his cheekbone.
“Don’t tell me you’re all close with this..offbrand of me.” Miles grumbled, roughly grabbing your wrist and pulling it away from the other miles causing you to fall back on your ass with a yelp.
You looked up at him, rubbing your stinging wrist; “what the fuck is wrong with you?” You glared at him, ignoring the pain from the marks on your wrist.
Miles said nothing, a look of disgust across his face as a side of his top lip raised; “I saw- te vi besarlo mamí” he looked down, and towards the other miles, thinking of how the other miles had felt your plush lips, that were only for him to feel against his own.
You had a look of disbelief on your face, he was that mad because you’d..accidentally kissed another version of him? (Which was understandable, but not to hurt you.)
“Miles I thought he was you!” You yelled, pointing between the two that looked exactly alike. Miles just ignored you, placing a little device on the spiderboy that tied his wrists together. “He reminded me of how you were before your father passed!” You yelled, giving in.
There was no movement, no sounds or anything. But miles felt his breath hitch at your comment before he looked at you. “You were so childlike, and sweet and just so young! I thought that you somehow had got that little spark back.”
You continued, tears forming in your eyes as you remembered how it was to watch miles loose himself in the prowler and turn to a life of crime.
Miles just deactivated his claw before walking over to you, falling to his knees and straddling you. “Lo siento mucho mami” He mumbled, grabbing your wrist and kissing it before hugging you.
“I’m sorry” you replied, leaning into his embrace. He just held you, mumbling apologies for snapping on you like that, and how it wasn’t your fault.
“I have to get him to uncle Aaron.” He whispered, kissing your temple. You just nodded, letting go of him.
As he stood up you grabbed his hand looking up at him with pleading, teary eyes. “He’s already gone through so much like you, please don’t hurt him amor..” you let go and miles just gave you a nod before clicking the button that reactivated his helmet, and sliding on the claw.
You couldn’t bear to see or even know that in another universe, miles goes through the same pain again, and again..in every universe.
Miles picked up miles and stepped out on the fire escape; “Hasta mañana mi Vida” he closed the window and jumped out of your view.
You sat in the same spot, confused and scared. You’d definitely ask a shit ton of questions tomorrow.

A/N: just know that if u interact with any of my works then i literally love u with all my heart
You weren't sure where your morals lie, but you assumed they were in the gray area. Matter of fact, you must be colorblind.
Could you even be considered a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-woman anymore? You were sure it was against your moral code to be dating a guy that you had previously described as a "cold-blooded killer." Who were you now? The Morally Gray Neighborhood Spider-woman? It wasn't nearly as catchy. Maybe you were an anti-hero now. Is it possible for a Spider-person to be an anti-hero? Surely not, you thought.
Interrupting your thoughts was the buzz of a phone. Miles' phone. You soon realized your present state, burrowed against your boyfriend on his bed. He had a suffocating grip on you, like he was afraid you'd disappear if he let go. Letting you get a breath of air, he loosened his grip on you to check his notification.
He slowly unwrapped his arms from around you and started to rise from the bed. He pressed his lips to yours before saying, "Lo siento, mami. Uncle Aaron needs me." He started putting on his Prowler gear.
To be frank, you were sick and tired. You've heard the same excuse over and over from Miles. At this point, you didn't understand why he was being so cryptic. What secret is there to hide if you already know he's the Prowler?
"Miles, enough with that vague shit. You keep acting like you're Batman or something." You sass, rolling your eyes at him and laying up in his bed. It was surprising how much he let you get away with. If anyone else had said that to him, he'd claw their throats out, surely.
"Let me come with you, Miles." You suggested, immediately jumping off his bed to follow him. He didn't like that idea. Not one bit, and it was clear on his face. "Hermosa," Miles started, but you interrupted him, pointing a finger at his face. "You know damn well I am fully capable of protecting myself. Just let me into your life, Miles. I want to see what's so important that you have to go and ditch your girlfriend yet again." You dramatically sigh, hoping he'll cave. After a few moments, Miles eventually gave in. "Fine. C'mon, princesa." He sighed and gestured for you to follow him.
He led you to what seemed to be a sketchy, dull, and grimy basement. If he wasn't infatuated with you, you'd wonder whether he was plotting to murder you down here. Upon further inspection, it was actually an apartment. As your eyes scanned the eerie room, you noticed chains hanging on the walls and an abnormal amount of weapons. However, there was also a large flatscreen and a kitchen. You could only assume that this was their Prowler Cave.
Other than the random civilian tied up on a punching bag, it looked like a fairly normal room. Almost cozy, if you were being generous.
Speaking of, why was there some poor boy restrained on a punching bag? You could barely see him due to the punching bag being larger than him, but from your current standpoint, you could only assume he was around your age or younger.
Miles stepped in front of you, holding a hand out to prevent you from taking a step further. Curling your lip in a frown, you shooed his hand away and continued walking, but stopped before the hostage could spot you. He stayed behind, lurking in the corner.
Miles' uncle greeted you both, "I've got a surprise for y'all." Apparently, Miles had let his uncle know in advance that you were welcome into his Prowler cave.
Miles, ever loving his dramatic entrances, jumped down from the corner he was lurking in. You had to stifle your laugh.
Uncle Aaron rotated the punching bag, revealing the unfortunate boy that got restrained upon it. Your jaw fell to the ground. You couldn't believe what you were seeing. How was this possible? You started to wish you had paid attention during Physics.
Attached to the punching bag was a near-identical copy of your beloved boyfriend. His eyes were wide full of fear, and for a second, you felt pity for him. Uncle Aaron left the room, leaving only you and the two Miles.
"Your dad is still alive?" Miles asked his impersonator, astonishingly unfazed by the fact that there was a copy of him staring him directly in his eyes. "What?" The impersonator questioned. "Your father, you said he's still alive." Miles repeated, his voice piquing with interest. "Yeah." The copy replied in a low voice. His face had no remnants of fear, it morphed into confusion instead. "Who are you?" The fake Miles asked, his eyebrows furrowing. He reminded you of your boyfriend in that way.
Your dearly beloved Prowler opened his mask, "I'm Miles Morales. But you, you can call me the Prowler." He said, his accent exposing. Those simple two sentences had more of an effect on you than they should have.
"If I don't go home, our dad is going to die." The fake Miles says with fear in his voice. "Your dad." Miles interjects coldly, lacking sympathy. The hope was slowly fading from the other Miles' face. He shook his head and said, "Please, you have to let me go." with more assertiveness than before. Your boyfriend leaned closer to the fake, "Why would I do that?" he inquired.
Deciding to interrupt their stare-down, you stepped out of the darkness and made yourself known to the fake Miles.
His face lit up with recognition. He whispered your name, "Is that you?"
"First off, how do you know my name?" You questioned, raising a confused brow. This whole situation was starting to creep you out. As you stepped closer to him, both of your spider-senses went off.
"You're like me." You both said in unison.
Your boyfriend was watching this interaction, narrowing his eyes. The fake Miles was only giving your boyfriend more reasons to keep him confined here.
"Look, you've got to help me. In my universe, you were my girlfriend too. Except you weren't Spider-woman. Don't you have a sense of morality? Hasn't anyone told you that with great power comes great responsibility?" The poor guy was practically begging you. You were sure that if he wasn't tied up on a punching bag, he'd be on his knees pleading with you. Which would be a fun sight to watch, you think.
You scoffed at the fake Miles Morales and replied, "You said it wrong. It's, with great ability comes great accountability." Rolling your eyes. This impersonator couldn't even get the quote right.
"That's not-" He cut himself off. "Whatever. You've got to help me, please." The fake Miles pleaded with you. He started to glitch, this universe was taking a toll on him already. As you stared into his eyes, he reminded you of a miserable, dejected puppy. Unbeknownst to you, the less-menacing Miles Morales was only stalling to charge up his venom strike.
Fortunately for him, he didn't need to resort to his venom strike just yet. That would only make this situation harder for him to get out of. He wasn't planning on getting on the bad side of another Spider-person.
"I think we should help him." You broke the silence, turning to your Miles. He was about to argue with you when you continued, "Not only because he's a fellow spider-person, but also because it's harder to resist someone when they look exactly like you, Miles." You grinned, teasing him.
As always, Miles couldn't deny you. He growled to his other self, directing the clone's attention away from you. "You're lucky my girl was here to save you this time, spider. I would've had no issue leaving you here to watch you rot."
As you untied Miles from the punching bag, he mouthed a "Thank you" to you and said,
"Do you guys happen to have a watch that can teleport me back home?" in all seriousness. It was almost comical. "No, but maybe I could help you out." You responded. "I have a good friend, Peter Parker. He's a scientist that specializes in quantum physics, I bet he could help. He works at Alchemax." His eyes seemed to lighten, "You know a Peter Parker?"
On the way to Alchemax, your boyfriend decided the phony version of himself was getting too comfortable with you. He was asking you way too many questions such as,
"How did you become Spider-woman?" The same way you did, Miles.
"How long have you been Spider-woman?" Ever since I got bit by a spider.
"Why are you with the Prowler?" He's not such a bad guy. A few seconds passed and you said, Nevermind. But that's what makes it exciting. You wink at him.
And that's when your lover decided to step in. He interrupted whatever Miles #2 was going on about. "Shut up for once." He snarled at him, towering over his clone. Within a second, your boyfriend had his copy in his grip with his razor-sharp claws in his face, a warning. You noticed sparks flying from the other Miles' fingertips. Why don't I have electric powers? You pondered. Not wanting to witness a homicide today, you pulled your boyfriend away before he could get the chance to slaughter himself. Or at least the morally good version of himself.
Your Miles snaked his arm around your waist possessively. He glared at the other Miles through his screen mask, but you were sure Miles #2 felt his sinister stare. He and you were walking a few paces ahead of his duplicate.
Some days, you weren't sure whether you wanted to kiss him or throttle him during his sleep. Although you couldn't deny that a part of you liked seeing him like this.
“Settle down, babe. He’s not my type.” You reassured him. He almost felt appeased, until he rethought your words. “Not your type? Mami, we look almost identical.” Your Miles said with irritation in his tone. You laughed at his confusion as you shook your head.
Although they were nearly identical in appearance, you noticed clear differences. For instance, your Miles had an intimidating and menacing presence. While the other Miles had more of a "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-man" energy to him.
"No, I mean, he's a little too dorky for me." Your boyfriend seemed to approve of your response, gazing at you. You shivered under his watch.
“I heard that." Miles #2 muttered, following behind you two.
Miles’ gaze was still set on you. He didn’t intend on breaking it any time soon. Although you couldn't exactly see his eyes, you could feel his stare. Nervously glancing the other way, you avoided eye contact. Because you knew that if you looked at him again, you'd pull him in and wouldn't be able to pull away. You felt like you were pinning for him all over again.
You glanced back at him, "Miles, stop staring at me. I might kiss you.” In an instant, his mask was off. He pulled you into a searing kiss, cupping your head with his hands. You reciprocated immediately.
His kiss was demanding and forceful. You could hear the thump of your heart, increasingly becoming louder. It was only a few moments long but felt like forever. He pulled away sooner than you'd liked, leaving you desiring more. “Had to show him that you’re my girl. Sólo mía. Right, princesa?” He stared into your eyes, making your heart pound impossibly faster. You cheekily nodded, the words being lost on your tongue. Miles smirked in satisfaction and closed his mask as you all approached Alchemax.
You strode into Alchemax like it was your second home and looked for Peter's office. Your boyfriend treaded right by your side, while the other Miles strayed behind you like a lost puppy. Which essentially, he was.
Successfully finding Peter's door wide open, you knocked. He looked up from his pile of work. Peter greeted you with a smile, "Come on in. It's great to see you, kid. But, uh, why is the Prowler in my office?" He said to you, his voice barely above a whisper. The Prowler in question was menacingly yet quietly standing in the corner of Peter's office.
Peter looked slightly green, but you consoled him. "Oh, don't mind him. He's my boyfriend." You shrugged. Peter shot you an extremely concerned look, judging your taste in guys, no doubt.
You simply smiled and patted him on the shoulder, "But anyway, Peter. This is Miles, he’s from a different dimension." You pointed at Miles, who stood stiffly next to you.
"We were hoping you could help us create an inter-dimensional teleporter. Or rather, a watch that can jump universes?" You told Peter.
The scientist seemed fascinated by this information about the multiverse. “That's a specific request. Lucky for you guys, I've been working on a prototype. Be wary that it is just a prototype, so there's no guarantee it'll work." Peter said.
"Great! I just have to make sure I get out of here before I either glitch to death or Miguel and his spider-team show up to beat me to death." Miles awkwardly said, scratching the back of his head. His glitching issue was getting worse the more time he spent in your universe.
Spider-team? No one's ever told you about this. If this "Spider-team" really did exist, why weren't you invited? No, you take that back. You could name a couple of reasons why you weren't invited, starting with your boyfriend who was standing next to you in his full Prowler suit. This is what you deserve for not being a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-woman, you sigh.
"Let's hope this works then." Peter says with an unsure tone. He cuffs the watch around Miles' wrist and changes the settings.
Silence falls upon the room as you all observe the watch flash for a moment, and then go dim again. How anti-climactic.
"Oops, sorry guys. Wrong settings." Peter Parker awkwardly laughed and fumbled with the watch again, and then said "Alright, this one should work."
Suddenly appearing to your right is a captivating portal of sorts. It was in the shape of multiple hexagons and had an orange hue. You couldn't take your eyes off of it, you'd never seen something so alluring. Other than your boyfriend, that is. You chuckled at your inner monologue.
Peter was ecstatic, “The other scientists doubted multiversal travel existed, but this is a critical discovery in the history of science!”
Miles, the Spider-Man one, was bewildered. He could finally go home and save his father. “Dude, this is awesome! I can't thank you guys enough. Maybe I'll see you guys again sometime." He smiled, referring to Peter and you.
Miles #2 seemed to be leaning in for a hug when your boyfriend interjected. He stood in front of you and glared at the phony version of himself, "Not too friendly now." he scowled.
“Chill, man! I didn’t mean it like that!" Instead, Miles gives you a two-fingered salute and fist-bumps Peter. "See you around." He finally says, jumping into the portal and wasting no additional time.
The portal closed behind him and you couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Maybe you weren't a morally gray neighborhood spider-woman after all.
Who were you kidding? You're dating a murderous asshole. You must've been guilty by association.
You just hoped that the dorkier version of your boyfriend made it to his universe, and wasn’t sent to a completely different one yet again.
Shaking off the thoughts, you told the scientist, "Thank you, Peter! You were a big help." You hugged Peter and waved him goodbye. "Anytime, kid." He replied. Your prowler followed you out, his hand settling on your waist.
As you returned to Miles' house, you sat on his bed with him and said, "You know, your cooperation has to count for something. Even if you were just brooding the whole time."
"I'm the Prowler. I wasn’t brooding, ma.”
"Whatever you say." You rolled your eyes at him. "Anyway, you didn't kill him, so that's a start. I'm proud of us!" You gleamed at him as you mentally patted yourself on the back.
"You know I love you, ma. But you talk too much." Miles said, pulling you by the waist into his embrace.
You knitted your eyebrows as you replied, "Babe. It runs in every Spider-person. Didn't you hear how-" This time, Miles was the one shutting you up by pressing his lips to yours in a surprisingly soft kiss. His gentle lips moved against yours, and you couldn't help but melt into his touch.
You smiled into the kiss, deepening it. You didn't need words to show him how deep your affection for him lies. If you could, you'd freeze time to forever stay in his hold.
-----------
Dating the public’s enemy number one had to be diminishing your PR. Not that you had one, anyway.
Initially, you worried that your terribly different lifestyles would inevitably lead to the end of your relationship. The Prowler and Spider-woman was an unlikely combination, after all. You snuck out at night to fight crime and restore justice, while he snuck around with his uncle to be a hitman of Kingpin. But you loved him like no one else could.
He invoked emotions in you that you weren't completely familiar with. Your mind was consumed by thoughts of him. You couldn't breathe with him around, nor could you control how fast your heart throbbed. But you would gladly suffocate if he was the one taking your breath away.
And you had a feeling that your sentiment wasn't unrequited.

Miles Morales ! 42 x Fem ! Reader Synopsis : ''I messed up princesa, I messed up bad.'' wc : 1,6k Warnings : spoilder for atsv, angst, THEY ARE AROUND 19 YEARS OLD, possessiveness, this is angst but like good one, no proofread, what I could remember from my spanish class 3 years ago. pt.1 - pt.2 - pt.3
You glanced at your phone for the hundredth time this minute.
Still no sign of life from Miles.
You were worried, more than you should as you had seen him for the last time the previous day. Yet, you were used to texting your boyfriend every day. It was now nighttime and he had not answered any of your messages. You scrutinized with a frown the last texts you had sent him. He had left you on read.
Miles never left you on read.
Well, he did but only for two reasons. First, when he was mad at you. Thus the first contradiction because the boy was rarely mad at you. Even if he was, he would always confront you directly and talk things out. He hated being on bad terms with you. Life was already rough without you by his side and he wouldn't let anything strip him of any quality time with his girl.
The other situation was is… street activities with his uncle. He used to disappear for days without telling you why, convincing you to not get concerned about him. However, after that one night when you yelled at him, crying, for worrying to death after he ghosted you for two days straight, he promise to always send a quick message to tell you when he would get really busy.
So as you sat on your bed, plunged in the darkness of your room, you knew that none of these cases applied to the current situation. You two hadn't fought and he hadn't told you anything about his prowler activities. Well, nothing that you knew of, which left you insanely troubled.
Your last words together were when he left for a party the previous night. You were supposed to go with him but dropped at the last minute because your mother felt sick. You preferred staying by her side, making sure she get better. At first, Morales wanted to stay with you and spend the night at yours, but you refused. You couldn't remember the last time he got to catch a breath and just enjoyed life like the young man he was. He was always either hanging out with you - making sure you were safe by the same occasion- or working with his uncle. So like the good girlfriend you were, you convinced him to go to the party without you. You just wanted him to have fun and even though he was reluctant, he couldn't say no to you.
Since then you had heard nothing from his side. It was already far in the night and you should be sleeping, but you couldn't close an eye.
At this point, you were contemplating directly calling his mother or even his friends. But you knew Miles despised you talking to other guys. Even if they were his own friends.
Your train of thought was suddenly interrupted by a bang on your window. You jumped at the sound and gawked when you catch sight of the boy tormenting your thoughts out of the corner of your eyes.
You hurried up and opened the window for him and he stumbled inside your room looking…awful. You could see the dark circles painted under his eyes and the frown settled on his forehead. Before you could say anything, he clenched his jaw and wrapped his arms around your waist, dragging your body to his. He pressed your bodies tightly against each other, leaving no room for anything else and the heat of your skin warmed the iciness of his.
You were left speechless as he leaned down and nestled his face on your chest. This sudden display of physical affection was unusual from your Miles. You were the one initiating the cuddles, the kisses, the hand-holding. So you couldn't help your heart from fluttering at this new attention. However, the feeling quickly vanished as you remembered the context. Your worry came back like a slap on your cheek.
“My love, what's going on ?” you broke the silence and wrapped your arms around his neck to hug him back, sensing that he needed it.
You received the silence treatment.
“Miles,” you frowned and leaned back to look at his face, only for him to stop you by tightening his arms around the low of your back.
“You haven't answered any of my texts since yesterday, what happened? Is it your uncle? You can talk to me. ”
He took a deep breath against your skin but still left you with no explanation, which made you upset.
“Miles, you can't just disappear for a whole day and come back as if it was nothing !”
“Lo siento Mami, I messed up,” his pained voice came out muffled by your shirt. You scowled at his words. ‘uh ?’
“What do you mean ?”
''m' so sorry. I messed up princesa. I messed up bad.''
You moved your hand to his hair to caress it and comfort him.
''What did you do ?''
''I-don't make me say it.''
Whatever he has done had to be really bad for him to be that panicked. You could definitely tell that it had been eating him all day.
''Tell me,''
''….I messed up last night, because of another girl.''
As soon as the words escaped his mouth, your hand froze in his hair. All the worries slipped out of your body as your blood ran cold. This couldn't be what you thought right?
''W-what ?''
''I kissed another girl.''
There it was.
Your hands fell to your side as your heart dropped. This was the last thing you could have ever imagined. You took a shaky breath trying to process the wave of emotions that invaded you, but your stare was already lost in the wall facing you.
Sensing your lack of reaction, Miles leaned back to look at you.
''You don't know how much I regret it-''
''Let go of me.''
The boy tensed in your arm at the unusual coldness of your voice.
“No mami, let me explain-”
“Let me go !” This time you yelled.
You thought back to all his possessiveness. Him not letting you talk to your guy friends. You thought back to these sleepless nights you spend worrying about this safety, just like tonight. To all these efforts you pulled to break the wall he build around him after the loss of his father.
All that for him to fumble and betray you in the end.
You felt your eyes water but you refused to cry in front of him. He couldn't see you weak. He couldn't see how much he had wounded you.
“Get out,”
“I won't, you can't end us.”
“What?'' You scoffed at his nerve. ''You ended us the moment you prioritized having fun over our relationship. Get out !”
Yet, he stayed still.
And that's all it took for you to lose it. He didn't have enough of betraying you, now he had to stay and insensitively watch you break down. He was a mess on the inside. He had never seen you this upset, and he loathed himself for being the cause of it.
“How could you do this to me !” Tears rolled down your cheeks.
There, you had failed to maintain your facade and Miles watched in horror as you fell apart in front of him. Through your blurry sight, you didn't notice that he was also crying. He stood there, towering over you, eaten up by remorse. He was supposed to protect you. He had accepted the prowler job to protect both you and his mother, but he had done the total opposite.
But he couldn't bear to lose you.
He let go of your waist and wrapped his fingers around your wrists to stop you. You tried to escape his hold but he was too strong.
“Querida, mirame por favor. I will make it up to you. I'll buy you everything you want. Tu eres mi mundo and you know-” he tried but you wouldn't hear anything.
“Who do you think I am? You can't buy me with money! Stop being selfish and leave !”
The boy tried to make eye contact with you but you looked sideways, taking deep breaths to calm down. You were overwhelmed with so many emotions that you didn't know what to feel anymore. However, you knew you couldn't bear to see him anymore.
For some reason, Miles seemed to catch the message as he finally let go of your hands and stepped back.
''I hope you can forgive me, mami.''
''Don't. I hate you. I wish I never met you.''
You spat those words purposely to hurt him. You didn't mean them at all. If anything, you still loved him as hard as before. Yet, when you noticed his hurt expression, it brought you a bit of consolation. It was tiny and it only lasted a second, but it was something.
You turned your back to him and eventually, you heard the window open and close behind you. Only then, you tumbled to your knees and let all of your tears fall, becoming a sobering mess in the silence of the room.
You had heard a lot about heartbreak. From your friends to your mother and even your aunt. What you didn't know was how aching it would be. Because even after he betrayed you, even after he made you feel like you weren't enough, you couldn't stop your heart from beating faster for Miles.
do you think you could do that "attractive things they do" thing with miles? if not thats ok! no rush and much love <3

-Carries ibuprofen on him 24/7 because he knows you’re gonna ask for it.
“Here,” Miles held his hand out in front of you revealing two small red pills.
You turned to him grabbing your cheer bag out of your locker, the picture of confusion.
“For your headache,” He explained.
“I don’t have a headache, you tryna drug me?”
“With ibuprofen, really?” He deadpanned “Take it so I don’t have to hear about your headache later,”
“Awww, you’re so sweet,” You pulled him into a hug gushing over how considerate he was to not want you in pain.
“Shut up,” He turned his face away without pulling away from you.
Although he would never say it to your face he’d gone entirely soft for you.
-Goes to football games despite not fully understanding it to see you
“Miles!” You squeaked when he came up behind you on the bleachers and wrapped an arm around your waist pulling you down onto the bench.
You turned around, facing him to find a tray of nachos in his hand.
He placed it down next to you for you to grab before sitting down on the step behind you.
You let out a groan and glanced back at your coach who was still standing by the benches on the football field.
There were only 12 minutes left of halftime and now that you were standing still you realized truly just how cold you were.
“Baby, you’re shivering,” Miles ran his hand up and down your arm.
“I know,” You whined. “Reina forget her warm-ups so coach won’t let us put them on,”
He hummed gesturing for you to stand up, you did and he pulled off his jacket helping you slip your arms into it, and zipping it all the way up.
He pulled your hair out of the back.
Still unconvinced that you’d gotten any warmer he pulled you into his lap surrounding your waist with his arms.
You raised your eyebrow at him but you felt so comfortable that you relaxed into him and let it slide.
That was until he started running his hands up and down your exposed thighs.
“Miles.” You warned your voice tight.
He continued what he was doing, acting oblivious.
“What ma, I’m just warming you up,” He leaned forward picking at your skirt. “It’s so short I know you’re cold,”
You pushed one of his hands away and he immediately put it back returning to his affections.
“You’re gonna get me in trouble,” You complained. PDA was very clearly outlined in the forbidden behaviors in your cheer contract.
“C’mon,” He rolled his eyes glancing down at your coach “She’s not even looking, relax”
“Alright,” You cautioned, moving to stand up.
He rushed to pull you back down into his lap.
“Okay, okay, I’m sorry,” He stilled his hands. “One kiss and I’ll leave you alone,”
-carries you on his back after practice
Cheer practice ran 2 hours late and you already hadn’t gotten much sleep last night trying to finish your homework. You were aching and exhausted.
Trudging up to your boyfriend at the edge of the track you gave him a meek nod of acknowledgment. Knowing you were drained he just slid your cheer bag off your shoulder before pulling it onto his.
After your third stumble into Miles’ side, he stopped walking, giving you the opportunity to fully lean on him.
Your eyes were drooping and appeared to be as if you were one strong breeze from falling over.
“Get on my back,” He suggested.
You nodded through a yawn, shuffling to get behind him.
He quickly knelt down making it easier for you to simultaneously wrap your arms and legs around him.
Hoisting you up with him to his full height he readjusted your bag on his shoulder.
He held both of your thighs securely while your arms dangled around his neck. Your head dropped into his neck and you let out a content hum.
He continued his pace to get to the front of the school.
With your calf’s swinging back and forth your grip on Miles’ neck loosened.
He asked a small “You comfy?”
When he was met with silence he chuckled to himself knowing you were asleep.
Once he’d finally made the trek to the front of the school he located your brother's truck.
He was sitting in the front seat on his phone with his head down before Miles knocked on the window.
Pulling the passenger door open with a click, he slid you off his back before lifting you up into the passenger seat.
You huffed making a sound of discomfort, shifting in your seat when your brother finally verbally acknowledged Miles.
They both froze before your breathing evened out and you stilled with your neck below the headrest.
Satisfied with the knowledge that you weren’t going to wake up, Miles responded to your brother.
“Alright, I’ll see you later,” He closed the door before stepping back and watching your brother drive off with your sleeping figure in tow.
-stares at and distracts you when you do comp. makeup
As you were struggling to get your larger-than-life lashes to fit to your lash line you felt a pair of eyes on you.
Glancing in the side of your vanity mirror you saw your boyfriend lying on your bed watching you.
“Can I help you?” You asked turning back around and grabbing your eyelash curler.
Seconds later you felt a presence at your back, looking up you made eye contact with Miles through the mirror.
Not leaving your question unanswered he asked what that was.
“What’s what?”
“The thing in your hand,” He replied as if it were obvious.
“Ohhh, my eyelash curler,”
He seemed satisfied enough with your answer to continue his silent staring. That was until you held the tool up to your eye.
“You’re gonna poke your eye out,” He startled you.
“It doesn’t even touch my eye,” You pulled it away from yourself.
“Is it hot?” He asked, reaching for it.
You pulled your hand away before standing, lifting the item to his eye. “Let me show you,”
“Hell no,” He pushed your arm away, wrestling you back down into your chair.
“C’mon please,” You whined.
He simply shook his head and took a step back from your chair. At first, you were just trying to be irritating, but now you were really interested in curling your boyfriend’s beautiful and freakishly long eyelashes.
You kept begging and although you kept receiving denials, you knew you could break his resolve.
“If you keep fucking around, you’re gonna be late,” He reminded you.
“We would’ve been gone by now if you weren’t being a baby,”
“Y/N! Let’s go, I’m leaving!” Your brother and ride yelled from the front door.
“Okay, I’m coming!” You answered before turning towards Miles again. “Just one eye really fast, please,”
Before he could open his mouth to say no you leaned up wrapping your arms around his neck and pressing your lips to his.
He sighed, grabbing your lower waist with both hands.
He rested against your vanity and pulled you to stand between his legs. He kissed you harder than appropriate for the time constraint and you pulled away before he could take it further.
He was panting against your face so when you said “I’m just gonna do one eye,” and because you knew you could break his resolve, he didn’t protest.

Putting your phone back down on your desk you started on your math study guide.
That you knew would take all night. Your math teacher never believed in giving students with extracurriculars extensions.
He wasn’t even supposed to give tests on game days, but he never followed any of the rules.
After graphing another equation your phone screen lit up with a notification.
m.morales added a photo to their story
Picking up your phone and unlocking it you opened Instagram to find a collage made of the pics you’d just sent him.
You couldn’t help but smile looking at the story of you in your cheer uniform smiling widely at the camera. The last verse of Dark Red by Steve Lacy playing over the story post.
Shifting your thumb to the heart icon on the bottom right you liked Miles’ story before moving to reply.
y/u/n: thank you this is the cutest most sweetest thing in the world 🫶🏽 💋
m.morales: Yw, my mom said you looked very pretty
y/u/n: tell her I said thank you
m.morales: I will
y/u/n: you should've tagged me
m.morales: No I don’t want nobody tryna dm you
-doesn’t let you kiss him on the lips w lipgloss/lipstick on (secretly does like seeing the marks left on his face tho)
You gasped, placing your hand over your heart in faux pain.
“How dare you?” You asked.
Sitting with your knees bracketing Miles' waist on the edge of his bed you questioned him on dodging your kiss. With how clingy he is he would never turn down affection.
“Wipe that stuff off your lips and I’ll kiss you,”
“Toxic masculinity is not a good look on you,” You tsked.
“Nothing toxic about not wanting sticky shit all over your mouth,”
You rolled your eyes at his response before speaking up. “My bad, forgot you were autistic,”
“I’m not autistic,” He fired back immediately.
“M’kay Mr. Sensory Issues,”
Instead of defending himself again or trying to change the subject he just leaned back into his wall, crossed his arms over his chest, and pouted.
You tried not to laugh at how childish he was being and instead cooed at him pressing a kiss to his cheek, then the other.
Pulling back you viewed the two lip marks left behind and the small involuntary smile on his face.
Leaning back in, you returned to your ministrations amongst his skin.
When all of your lipgloss and stick was transferred off you sat back on your heels admiring your work.
Extending your body you reached for your phone resting near his pillow. Returning to your previous position you grabbed his face taking pictures of him with closed eyes and the goofy smile on his face.
Clicking on the small photo icon to enlarge it you flipped your phone around to show your no longer pouting boyfriend.
Squinting to see the picture Miles looked at the kiss marks littered across his cheeks, forehead, and jaw, he pretended to not care, while he forced himself to conceal the giddy smile that wanted to break out across his face.
-his mom loves you more than he does “calls you her mini daughter-in-law” but disproves of the “short” skirt
When Miles first introduced you to his mother she was skeptical. You were her baby’s first girlfriend, he was all she had left. How did she know if you were trying to take him from her?
But now you were all she could ever talk about. She treated you like a daughter.
“When’s Y/N getting here, I want to see her before I leave,” Rio asked in her blue scrubs grabbing a banana off the counter.
“She texted and said she’s 2 minutes out,” Miles answered sitting on the couch in his Visions uniform, his backpack on the floor next to him.
Down on the street, you closed the door to your brother's truck before throwing your backpack strap over your shoulder.
Saying goodbye to your brother you ran up to the Morales’ door.
Immediately after opening the door, Mrs. Morales pulled you into a tight hug.
She asked how her “little daughter-in-law” had been but before you could finish responding she was releasing you from her arms.
Once you were at arm's length she spun you to the side. Furrowing her brows she plucked at the fabric of your cheer skirt.
With a sigh and a shake of her, she muttered to herself “What is the school thinking, making these outfits so short,”
Sliding past her as she moved to finish off her morning routine, you greeted your boyfriend near the couch.
You pressed a quick kiss to Miles's cheek and he immediately perked up from his fatigued before-school mood.
He stood up a little taller, his display of confidence was however broken by a loud laugh from across the apartment.
With your boyfriend’s and your attention on her, Rio explained the cause of her amusement.
“Look at how much happier he is, 5 minutes ago he was like an angry old man,”
She moved closer to the both of you to coo at her son.
“How cute, he missed you. Every time you leave he goes into his room and-“
Before she could embarrass him even more Miles interrupted.
“Mami, you’re gonna be late for work.” He attempted to usher her out the door.
“Miles don’t be rude, let her speak,” You chimed in wanting to hear whatever embarrassing thing she had to say now.
“No, no,” Rio dismissed you with a wave of her hand. “He’s right, I’ll just tell you later,”
She gave each of you and Miles a kiss on the cheek before grabbing her messenger bag on her way out the door.
As the door clicked shut you smiled up at your boyfriend.
“So…” You dragged out, “You gonna tell me what she was talking about?”
-reluctantly goes to fundraisers you have to cheer/be present at
You sat on your couch pouting up at Miles as he stood in front of you.
“Don’t you have friends you can go with?”
“Yeah, but I wanna go with my boyfriend, or do you not love me anymore?”
He groaned, rubbing his face with his hands.
“Don’t start,” He warned.
“I don’t understand, why won’t you love me?”
“Baby it’s hot outside,”
“I have to go though, so just come with me,”
It’d been a whole 5 minutes of you trying to convince Miles to accompany you to the school-sanctioned car wash. It was mandatory for the cheerleaders to attend. Your coach had a habit of enthusiastically signing you all up for fundraisers that she would only have to work the snack booth while you did all the work.
“I literally never see you anymore come on,” You whined trying a different approach.
“I’m literally standing in front of you now,” He mocked you.
“Miles,” You whined.
“Y/N,” He copied you with the same inflection.
Giving up, you told him you didn’t even care if he went anymore.
Pouting again you closed in on yourself. Miles sat back down next to you and you scooted to the other end.
Scrolling through your phone you obnoxiously laughed out loud every few minutes and when Miles asked you what was so funny you pretended not to hear him.
He knew you were going to continue your childish antics until he gave in and went to this carwash in the high 90° weather.
“Alright, I’ll go with you,” He conceded.
With a satisfied smile on your face, you hopped up off the couch. You leaned over and pressed a peck to his lips muttering a small thank you.
“Let me go change,” You ran to your room. “Don’t leave, I’ll be quick!”
“Where would I go?” He yelled back.
-Gets phantom pains from your tight ponytails
“Does that not hurt?”
“It does but you get used to it,”
You’d grown accustomed to the pain that came with having your hair pulled up into a tight high ponytail for the majority of AAU and comp season.
Miles however was appalled by this revelation. Every time your face so much slightly twitches in pain he was obnoxiously groaning claiming that you two were connected and he could feel it.
“I don’t wanna look at it anymore,” Instead of turning away as any sane person would’ve done, he reached over and slid the hair tie out of your hair.
The release of the tension pulling on your head lets you relax a bit more, your headache slowly fading away.
“Ridiculous,” You heard your boyfriend mutter.
“What?” You asked unsure if that was meant for your ears or not.
“Look at your hair,”
Narrowing your eyes at him you pulled up the camera on your phone to find a sizable dent in your hair where the rubber band had once been.
“That’s why you have a headache all the time,” He lectured, moving over you, to massage your scalp.
“Probably,” You answered, sighing and leaning back into his arms. He complained again about how your hairstyle was too tight claiming “all your hair is gonna fall out”
“‘Kay, I won’t do it so tight next time,” You lied.
-believes you should 100% be captain doesn’t matter if there’s someone “better” than you
“Catherine is like objectively better than me at cheer and she’s a senior there’s no reason she shouldn’t be captain,” You had to explain to your boyfriend after the cheer positions had come out that you were only a sophomore and having a position on varsity was actually really good.
He however didn’t agree. “She’s probably on steroids,”
You laughed at the absurdity of his claim. “No one is taking high school serious enough to do steroids,”
“I think she should get tested anyways,”
“Not everyone that’s better than me is on steroids,”
“‘Nobody’s better than you,” He argued. “And if they were it’s only ‘cause of steroids.”

You weren’t afraid of Miguel O’Hara which was what made you perfect for the job in Gwen’s eyes. She would’ve asked Hobie but Miguel would’ve noticed, despite muttering about how much Hobie annoyed him. Gwen caught Miguel checking on Hobie a few times when he hadn’t shown up but you, you were Miguel’s rebellious little sister, not literally but you might as well have been.
Out of all people it was clear Miguel cared about you the most which was good and bad. He latched on, he hovered like a father would but he loved you.
And you were the only person close enough to Miguel that he wouldn’t question it when you used your watch.
“You want me to go see your boyfriend?” You asked tilting your head at the polaroid photo of her and Miles “He’s not my boyfriend.” Gwen shook her head, her pale cheeks reddening and you glanced up at her “Lovers in denial. My favorite trope.” You teased and she nudged you “Shut up.”
You laughed shaking your head “Do you realize how much trouble this will get me in if Miguel finds out?” Miguel was strict, strict enough that you didn’t receive a watch until two months ago but Gwen knew you wouldn’t give up that easy especially since you didn’t agree with what would happen to Miles. “I know but it’ll only take two seconds, in and out all you have to do is warn him.”
“Why can’t you do this?” You asked your eyebrows furrowed at her “I can’t, Miguel knows that I’ll warn him.” and you sigh, you pity her. You can’t imagine what it’d be like to be in her shoes. “Fine, two seconds and just because I wanna try out the new things I added to my watch.” You smile at her and she beamed throwing her arms around you causing you to stumble back.
“Woah.” You laughed and she pulled back quickly pretending to be cool about it “I mean, yeah, thanks.” You snorted shaking your head “You’re a dork, Stacy.” You walked backwards waving the photo of Miles and Gwen in your hand “I’ll keep this just so I know what he looks like.”
“Thank you again!” She called and you just nodded.
You had your plan set, you’d be going on a mission with Jess later and when it was time to go through the portal you’d just go through your own and quickly try and warn Miles.
It was easy, it was supposed to be easy.
MILES’S head hurt, his mask cracked from his latest mission and he was tired, so tired. Physically and mentally and ever since….ever since his dad died things had been different. He had been different, he knew it but he couldn’t change it or fix it. He couldn’t hold back the anger he felt.
The anger at the world, the anger at the people who it and the anger at his dad for wanting to save so many people. Anger. That’s all he ever felt anymore.
“It’s normal, Rio.” Miles had heard Aaron tell his mother one late night “He’ll come around.”
“He’s just so different.” His mother had whispered and he wished he could tell her that he was the same as he used to be. That he was fine but he wasn’t because this wasn’t some fairytale, this was his life.
He couldn’t protect his dad but he’d protect his mom, he rode for what was his. That wasn’t stopping but still some nights it felt like he couldn’t pull his punch and his vision would blur with his tears like now as his legs hung over the edge of a building.
He missed his dad and more importantly he missed you. He remembered all these nights he had pushed you away, all the times he rolled his eyes at your stupid jokes and all the times he denied you a hug. He had taken you for granted and now he was alone and stuck with the haunting thought that it’d always feel like this, like an open wound that wouldn’t close.
He feels like he’s shaking, it takes a moment to realize he is shaking, actually everything is shaking. He’s confused when he rises to his feet, cars are going off and then he sees a light form above his head and for a moment he feels like it’s one of those stories his mom used to tell him and maybe it was his dad or you coming to give him some last advice and maybe Miles would get a chance to say the one thing he wished he had ‘I love you’
His hope is quickly washed away as the light open into an array of colors and he hears….screaming? Everything is telling him to move but he’s stuck in his spot and suddenly a shadow forms and something lands on him. Something heavy that makes him hit the ground, his body slamming into the concrete of the roof.
His body aches more than it was before as something weighs down on him. He groans or he thought he groaned until he realized it sounded nothing like him. “Oh fuck, I’m so sorry.” His vision adjusts to the night as the person clambers off of him “Uh… thank you for breaking my fall sir.” They pat his chest plate as they kneel beside him. The voice is familiar, too familiar.
He sits up and his heart skips a beat in his chest when he gets sight of the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, he gets sight of you. He can’t say anything, he’s frozen and stiff in his spot. You died, you were supposed to be dead “Where am I?” You asked not noticing the way his eyes scan over you because you’re too busy staring at your glitching watch.
“Brooklyn.” He choked out rubbed his head just watching you and you snorted rolling your eyes “Thank you, Captain Obvious, I know what the hell Brooklyn looks li…”The words die on your tongue when you finally take in your surroundings. Things looked different, darker and scarier. You rise to your feet scanning over the area “Fuck.” You start hitting your watch trying to get it to work.
He carefully tries to find the words, he wants to say everything he didn’t say but what comes out is “What the hell are you wearing?” You scoff looking down at your spider suit before finally looking at him fully and before you can mention what he said you realize how similar he looks to the picture Gwen had gave you.
“You Miles Morales?” You asked and he hates that it pains that you don’t know him “Yeah.”
You pull it out the photo quickly stopping over to him, he almost flinched when you crouch down beside him and grab his face. He’s nuzzled into your warm touch that he had so desperately missed but you don’t seem to notice as you hold the photo next to him. ‘I love you’ he wants to say now that he’s seeing you this close as You look between the photo and him, you can immediately notice a difference.
His dark eyes, the bags underneath them, the braids and suddenly you become aware of the prowler symbol on his chest and you huffed dropping your hand from his face. “You wouldn’t happen to know a Gwen Stacy, would you?”
He gulped missing your skin pressed against his “That blonde bitch from 3rd period? Yeah, I know that big mouth.” He rolled his eyes at the thought of the girl “Are you dating?” You ask in a hopeful tone and he scoffed “Hell no.” You would’ve know that because you hated Gwen Stacy, you thought she was a bitch.
You groaned sitting back fully realizing that this wasn’t the Miles you were looking for, you look down at your watch again as it finally stopped glitching for a moment.
Earth-42.
You stare at it for a few moments like it’ll change but it doesn’t, you can admit this was fully on you. You shouldn’t have been trying to mess with the watch, Hobie had always been better at this kind of thing. You wanted to help your friend and look what you get for it.
Miles stares at you and finally he whispered “Y/N?” It’s then you noticed his glossy eyes “You know my name?” You muttered and he chuckled “I know a lot more than your name.” It’s then he’s digging into his pocket pulling out his wallet and he flips it open holding it out to you. You grab it staring at the picture… it’s you and him. Your arms wrapped around him, your hands cupping his face pressing a kiss to his cheek as he clearly tries to pull away.
“You’re… gone.” He muttered because saying the word dead out loud felt a little too real but you didn’t need for him to say it to understand.
“Oh…” Is all you say because this was bad, you were dead in this universe. You had to get back home before Miguel figured out you were gone. You had heard Miguel tell his story a thousand times and you didn’t want any of this to end up like that.
“I’m sorry.” You push the wallet back in his hand as he looked at you with hopeful eyes “I’m not her.” You clear your throat rising to your feet “I mean I am her but I’m not your her.” You tried to tell him “I don’t belong here, I have to leave.”
He should’ve asked more questions but he feared learning more would make it feel like you were dying all over again. So he nodded slowly, he supposed it wasn’t the worst thing. He got to see you one more time, that should be enough. He wanted it to be enough.
He forces a laugh “Yeah, no I get it.” He brushed it off finally rising to his feet. “Can I just…” Miles felt vulnerable in that moment as he stared at you. It took you a moment to realize what he was too afraid to ask for…he wanted a hug. He didn’t want to say it but he looked in dire need of it, you took a breath before opening your arms.
Miles hesitates for a moment like he’s afraid to open up but he lets himself because it’s you, his girl even if it ain’t really you. He hugs you so tightly you stumble back, his arms wrapped tightly around your waist like he’s afraid, you’ll slip away. He closes his eyes nuzzling his face in your neck and in that moment it feels like it used to be. Just you and him.
He used to complain about how you weaseled your way into his life but now he’s wishing you had never left.
You even rubbed his back just like you use to. It was like that for a moment, you comforting him and he thinks that this is the first time he let someone hug him since you died.
“I- uh.” You feel guilty for interrupting a moment that is so crucial to him “I need to go.” He pulls back quickly like he wasn’t just holding onto you for dear life. He looks calmer though, he feels better though there still feels like there’s something missing and he knows that it’s you.
“Yeah, uh be careful out there mami.” and I love you, I’m sorry for not being able to protect you He thinks but Miles doesn’t say it what he says is “For me.” You nod beginning to tap on your watch, it seems to start working besides the few glitches but as the portal begins to open, Miles stands behind you just watching you leave like you had done before.
The portal opens fully and you take a step forward but before you can the portal began to glitch heavily. Something’s wrong. Your eyes widen as the colors take form of a different shapes. “Is that supposed to happen!?” Miles shouted shielding his eyes from the bright light.
“No!” You shout frantically clicking buttons on your watch but it’s messing up blinking on and off. “It’s fried.” You mutter to no one in particular staring up at the portal that begins to glitch harder before it close sending a wave through the air, Miles is quick pulling you back away from the flash causing both of you to fall back. You leaned against his chest staring at the massive amount of apartments and streets now without light.
“Do you think that’s my fault?” You asked with a nervous smile looking at Miles who chuckled shaking his head at you. You look down at your watch that won’t turn on, you groan “What’s happening?” He asked as he watches you become more panicked your breathing picking up as the nervousness rises to your chest. Your chest starts to hurt but Miles recognizes the signs. It used to happen to you…well, the other you all the time when you got overwhelmed.
He placed his hand on your back rubbing “Hey, hey listen to me.” He talked softly to calm you “It’s fine.” he promised “We’re going to figure it out.” He rubbed your back till you calmed just like you had done to him.
“What the hell am I going to do?” You huff burying your face in your hands, you didn’t have any of your gadgets to fix the watch or anything. You actually didn’t have any gadgets at all. You think of something like a lightbulb lighting over your head, you raise it looking at Miles.
“Did you make that suit yourself?” You asked and he looks down before shaking his head “Actually me and you did…with Aaron’s help.” He chuckled at the memory as you shifted on your knees excitedly “Do you have a lair?”
“A lair? What you mean a lair?” His eyebrows furrowed at your words “Like a place where you get ready, where you have your gadgets and things?”
“Oh, yeah that’s Aaron’s place.”
You grabbed his shoulders “Take me there?” He’s hesitant, despite the fact that you look like his girl, you had made it very clear that you weren’t. He didn’t know if he could trust you. “Look ma, I-“
“Please! All I need is some things and I’ll be out your perfectly braided hair!” You begged giving him your best puppy dog eyes and he couldn’t help but wonder how you knew that trick would work on him. He felt his resolve crumbling “We could help each other.”
His eyebrow raised “How?”
“Well I happen to be a super cool superhero where I’m from.” You sit up straight with a smile but he doesn’t look impressed and you sigh “Look, I know you’re one of the bad guys but if a variant of me loved you, you couldn’t have been all that bad. I’m awfully sensitive in every universe.” You joked nudging him and he couldn’t help but laugh too. “I just need to get home or something bad could happen and maybe if you help then it’ll happen way faster plus… maybe I can help you with your mourning process.”
“I ain’t mourning.” He lied brushing your hand off his shoulders, mourning would require for him to acknowledge the fact that you weren’t just gone, you were dead. “Fine.. I can help you through your ‘not’ mourning process.” He doesn’t respond rising to his feet, your eyes watching his every move before he looked at you and he couldn’t deny your beautiful eyes so he sighs reaching out his hand.
“You gonna explain to me where you came from if I take you?” He asked and you smile that same smile that had won his heart “I’ll tell you all about it.” You grab his hand letting him pull you up.
His face is close to yours as he stares at you for a moment. “You’re still so beautiful.” It’s a whisper and it breaks your heart. You let out a shaky laugh bringing him back to the reality of it all. “I’m sorry I-“
“It’s okay.” You promise, your hand on his chest “It’s okay”
“Let’s go, ma. It’s getting late. You can tell me where you came from on the way there.”
a/n: omg i actually loved this so i hope you guys did AND PLS TELL ME IF YOU DID BECAUSE I AM HIGHLY CONSIDERING MAKING THIS A SERIES SO IF YOU LIKE IT I WILL DO THAT. requests are open so feel free to request!
