It was mostly curiosity that had pulled her inside the witchy shop. Maybe she'd pick up some candles or would walk out with crystals that warded off evil spirits, it was really anyone's guess since the redhead had entered on whim. But maybe she was also that desperate to rid her father and the ensuing drama from her life. The negativity that came up and practically swallowed everyone whole was too much.
"Do you think they actually cast spells here in the back room or anything?" Eliana said quietly to the pretty younger blonde woman that appeared as lost as she. Her chin jutted toward the beaded curtain that someone had just slipped behind to disappear into the back. "I could probably use one... or two," she added casually, almost too offhand, a light laugh following.
"Salt at the doorways only keeps the demons from entering your home," Eliana went on, browsing distractedly, "doesn't stop them from calling." It'd been a huge relief and comfort having Nic staying in her home and her bed, but she hated that he'd heard her father's voice on voicemail after one of his many calls.
"What're you in for?" The soft smile had amusement behind it, as though the redhead was trying to find some light in the darkness.
