p.s.a. - I’m a selective blog BECAUSE i suffer from anxiety and depression, as well as the fact that i’m married and have a child. not all of my time can be spent here, and when i take on a lot of threads, I feel like im disappointing people. Im sorry if it makes people uncomfortable or makes them think im an elitist when that’s not my intention. but also, i have the right to turn you down for whatever reason because this is my blog and my life.
Guys, please stop with all the 'Send me this and I'll list my favorite blogs of that character'-memes. This is a place where we all come together to roleplay and to have fun. And while it's nice being told you're on a top five, ten, even top three-list. It is also not that nice if you're not, and it can destroy more with twenty than it builds confidence with say ten people that made it on that list.
We all pick favorites. We have since we could talk. We have the "I like that." "No, I don't like that." practiced and performed well since we could say other words than "dada" and "Nu!". It's understandable and it's a mundane thing to do. But everyone here, is just as good as the other. We all bring different things to our characters, and we interpret them our way, but that doesn't mean someone is better or worse than the other. There is no need to make this community of wonderfully talented, aspiring writers, people who come here to maybe learn, to find a safe haven, future scriptwriters – and directors maybe even, who knows? – to make this community more insecure than it already is. So appreciate everyone you like, that's fine, no one can deny you that. but don't make lists and single someone out. We all just want to come here for a nice time and rp, not to be judged on who is the best.
