(The Pacific Chorus Frogs are just finishing up their metamorphosis, and were literally everywhere, but I appreciated this lad hanging out on the brochure holders)

Found this little guy inside a sprinkler box at my work here on the central coast of California! My best guess via iNaturalist is that he's a Pacific chorus frog (Pseudacris regilla) of a brown variety. He had a friend outside the box who puffed up when I poked at him gently to move him lol
Yeah, looks about right. So roumd. What a good creature.
