PSL Update

I just want to announce that Baz just led his team to their first victory in 9 matches and it was all down to a 17 year old quick from a tiny village in North Pakistan!!! It was such a brilliant game to watch!!! Also the post match presentation is on and Fawad Rana (the owner of Lahore qalanders aka the team that baz captains) just kissed baz. I love gay cricket. Also, I would kiss baz too because he looks so good rn. His hair? on point. His face? Flawless. His shirt? Fitting in all the right places.

I hate the city of lahore so much (and their people ugh) because of our rivalry but baz!!! And Fakhar!!! And kiwi Mitch!!! And now Shaheen shah!!! I'm happy for my faves

Shaheen Shah Afridi is only 17 and he took 5 wickets for only 4 runs (one of the best bowling figures in the history of t20 cricket) and cleaned up Multan Sultans' incredible batting line up. So the team who was at the bottom of the table has just now beat the team who was at the top. T20 leagues are weird

PSL Update

The first match of the PSL 3 to be played in Pakistan was today and it was between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi in Lahore at the Gaddafi Stadium!

There was a very intense eliminator match between peshawar (headed by Darren Sammy and Hassan Ali and Wahab Riaz play for this team) and quetta (headed by Sarfaraz and KP, Watson and JRoy played for it till they didn't fly to Pakistan. Fake hoes) tonight. Anyway it was super fucking crazy and the momentum kept shifting and in the end Peshawar held on and won by ONE run. It was insane.

Quetta needed 30 of the last 3 overs but Hasan Ali and Wahab only conceded 5 off the 18th and 19th over. Then Liam Dawson comes on to bowl and Quetta needed 25 off the last over. Anwar Ali goes on to hit 4 6 0 6 6 and then on the last ball, they needed 3, Anwar Ali hits the shot straight to the fielder but the fielder drops the catch but manages to throw it back, batsman gets run out and Quetta only get 1 completed run which means that Peshawar wins. It was unreal.

Anyway Peshawar now play Karachi (Afridi, Amir's team) tomorrow in Lahore again for the second eliminator and whoever wins meets Islamabad United (Misbah, Finny and Shadab's team) in the final on Sunday in Karachi!!!!

Also on the tickets front: still no tickets, am probably going to die now. Goodbye friends. But I'm hoping I get tickets for the West Indies matches being played at the start of April!! So I'm trying to not think about the final too much!

Also my little brothers saw Misbah passing a car today so I'm really attacked that I didn't get to see my king. At least they didn't meet him. Then I would've been really pissed

PSL Update

The PSL final will be between Peshawar Zalmi Islamabad United! It's on Sunday at 6 pm Pakistan Standard Time (+5:00 GMT) at The National Stadium Karachi! And it's the first match to be held there since like. 2008 or smth. Not sure. But you guys get the hype right?

Karachi lost today against Peshawar which sucked but honestly I think it was the lack of Afridi (he's injured) and the fact that they made amir captain. I love amir but my man has never captained any team before in club cricket level or first class or anything so how can you expect him to lead a team in a semi final.. also Kamran Akmal went nuts with his 77 of like 27 balls or smth

Anyway, Finny is flying to my city in the next few days and will be playing in my city on Sunday!!! Lit!!! Still don't have tickets though but I am literally calling in every favour and trying to get then somehow please pray I'm going to die if I can't get them

Also I'm backing ISLU for the final obvs because Finny and Shadab and Misbah and Faheem and also they're the cutest team in the PSL and the nicest one because they treat their fans so well and have all these cute ass team activities and ugh my heart hurts y'all why isnt KK like them

PSL Update

So the update is that I still haven't got tickets for the final but this really cute and nice boy that I've been texting for a bit is trying to get me tickets which is A+++ rishta material. Just saying

Anyway, the last game of the group stages is coming to a close and so Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi have made it to the play offs.

Also just wanted to say that Shahid Afridi got Misbah's wicket today and he didn't celebrate it out of respect for his ex-captain and the legend that is Misbah ul Haq. It was a lot like the other day when the 17 year old Shaheen Shah Afridi got Shahid Afridis wicket and began to celebrate and then realized who the batsman was and stopped out of respect. How cute are they

Also we say goodbye to the English players since they're not flying to Pakistan for the eliminators/semi finals and the final. (I'm not bitter)

I'm going to miss seeing finny being a cutie and we've only had Hales and Sam (he didn't even get a game?) and jroy and morgs (man's has an average of 3.50 for the PSL. Wow. Also he captained KK for his games since our captain is injured) for a bit but they'll be missed. I guess. KP and Watto are leaving as well which I don't really care about but yeah
