here to report that, as of yesterday, LQ is officially out of the competition :( poor baz :(

also that Hales, jroy, sam and eoin are going to join the PSL now since they're done with national duty ayy 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

Day 2 of the PSL

Afridi just took a stunner during the KK vs QG match and KK's captain, Imad Wasim leapt into his arms and from my angle, it looked like Afridi kissed his neck. So there's that.

PSL Day 12

ISLU vs KK just ended and ISLU beat KK really badly by 8 wickets with like 27 balls to spare or smth so I’m kinda annoyed. anyway, ISLU didn’t play Finny today smh they replaced him with a spinner because the pitch was good for spinners but apparently KK didnt get that memo so the dumbasses didnt pay their legspinner and went with an all pace attack except for one allrounder spinner Imad Wasim, aka the captain. Afridi wasnt there either for KK because of an injury and his absence was evident when KK were struggling to slow ISLU down in their run chase or trying to get wickets. he’ll be back for next match though, that KK has on thursday

Shadab is still wicketless in the PSL :( i feel really bad for him :(

today was quite meh. babar batted well for KK and got a fifty and so did khurram manzoor but then ISLU managed to choke KK during the last overs so we didnt end up with as high a total as we wouldve liked but 150+ was still decent. too bad our bowling couldnt support us. 

 JP did well for ISLU as did Luke Ronchi so good on them

congratulations to ISLU and all and do tune in on tuesday on cricketgateway,com for peshawar zalmi vs multan sultans at 9:00 pm Pakistan time (+5:00 GMT) as Monday is a rest day.

idk if im going to be able to do these till next saturday because i wont be watching psl this week because i have a very busy week ahead (unless i dont do my work and watch instead, that probably will happen. i hope it doesnt)

PSL Day 9

half-asleep and just remembered i didnt post an update so here it is.

karachi kings vs multan sultans was washed out today because of rain and can i just mention that the UAE is a desert? so this makes zero sense but there you have it. i barely did work today because i kept waiting for the match to start until they abandoned it 3 hours later. sad stuff. anyway, it wouldve been an intense clash considering that they’re the 2 top teams currently but yeah, we missed out. 

islamabad united vs lahore qalanders is going on right now. ISLU dropped finny in place of a spinner which i was mad at them for but it is a spinning pitch so i cant really blame them.

ISLU batted terribly and made only 121/9 which, if I’m being honest, I didnt think they’d get. I thought they’d be like 80 or 90 at the most. Baz (*heart eyes*) is leading LQ from the front and leading them to victory despite them being 4-2 at the end of the first over. Also he looks amazing. He’s been without a helmet for some of his innings and it was a blessing. thank u @ god

 LQ has still collapsed like 3 out of 3 times in this tournament so far (losing their last 5 or 6 wickets for as less as 12 runs at times) so who knows, maybe Baz will get out and LQ will all fall like dominoes. It’s not as intense and exciting as last night but it’s fun all the same. 

also, baz got hurt and shadab asked him if he was okay so that’s an update worth giving. like @destinationismine so aptly said, “ Baz And Shadab just interacted it's over for everyone”

tl;dr: 1 match washed out, boo. second match still going on, baz is stil as hot as ever nothing has changed there.

PSL Day 7

It looks like it'll be a low-scoring thriller between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.

Finny just clean bowled Asad Shafiq and it's his second wicket out of the three ISLU have taken so far!

ISLU had a tough time batting and only made 134-7 but with the quick wickets that they've gotten so far, I'd say they have a bit of a chance of winning, despite the fact that the Sharjah pitch is a batting pitch.

PSL Day 6

nothing happened today. my crops are failing. my skin is breaking out. I got so used to t20 matches with my tea/dinner everyday and now- I feel like death.

of course no matches meant I actually got stuff done today! but I'll take PSL over actual work anyday
